Overall the dining staff were friendly and down-to-earth, and the food was excellent. Note that if you are staying in room #17 it is at the bottom of a long set of stairs, which was daunting at first but by the end of our stay we actually appreciated the regular exercise. We were also provided with a WhatsApp contact, which made asking questions throughout our stay very easy. I want to give a shout out to our birding guide, Selvin Cassasola. He also guided us around Xunantunich and he was just excellent."
