We usually go to Carolina or Wrightsville Beach so this was just an attempt to mix it up and its definitely a different vibe! Southport is so pretty and great fish and restaurants. We found the real beach like 10 mins away at Caswell and that was really nice and free parking! The apartment was really clean and comfortable. Nice additions like cocktail shaker and fully stocked kitchen. We felt like it was easy to relax and hardly saw anyone while we were in the complex but just a few blocks away there are lots of people and activity. Best part was we had to bring my bf's dog at the last minute due to an injury, and this apartment allows pets with no extra fee! Thanks for everything! ##### mattea A. Close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Everyone in Southport was so friendly and welcoming. Love the fact this property is dog friendly too. My downside is the couch was white and had stains on it, would be better if a different color as well as removeable covers for washing. Also the rugs shouldn't be in the condo either. Could use some upscale touches We had difficulty into the property because the electric lock instructions were unclear. The space was nice, the location was great, and the bed was comfortable. BUT, there was a Keurig coffeee maker but only one single pod in stock along with many random tea bags, and creamer and sugar would have been appreciated. AND, no one in 2024 travels with soap or shampoo anymore after staying in hotels over the past 30 years, but these were not provided so we ended up using the sink hand soap to wash. Attention to a couple of details is the difference between a 4 star and 5 star stay, and this was not the latter. ##### Ray E. I called the property manager and they said they would look into it. We left for a few hours and when we came back that evening, nothing had been taken care of. The couch was still wet.
