Clean, well-stocked and thoughtfully organized, clear communication from the property manager and a beautiful spot on the water. We loved sitting out on the dock and watching the boats go by. One note for guests: the twin bedroom is the one facing the water and it has a bit more space and beautiful light. The house is situated in a perfect venue for enjoying nature and the bustle of life on the water. The porch was literally like a magnet holding us for hours every morning as we sat and had our coffee and just soaked in the beauty and charm of it all. Having a Bald Eagle land in a tree just fee from the porch was icing on the cake. The best part was sitting on the porch watching the boats go by. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. In the description of this house there should a notice that it is not handicap friendly. You need to go down big stones to get to the front door and the stairs to the two bedrooms are steep. The living room had inadequate furniture to sit comfortably. Considering the price to rent this house for two weeks, it should have included linens and towels too. Stayed the week with friends including another couple who rented the boathouse next door so we had access to the dock for daily kayaking and the occasional plunge into some cold water. The location is great. Walking distance to Robinson’s, five minutes drive to Boothbay harbor.
