Southern Food & Beverage Museum

I had a pleasant stay at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. The location is one of its biggest strengths—it's right along the Mississippi River and connected to the Riverwalk, making it easy to shop, dine, and walk to the French Quarter, Caesars New Orleans, and the Convention Center. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though some areas of the hotel and certain rooms could benefit from updating. If having a great view is important to you, it's worth requesting a river-facing room when booking. The staff was friendly and professional, and check-in/check-out was efficient. The hotel offers plenty of amenities, including a large fitness center, pool, and several dining options, although parking and some extras can be expensive, so it's a good idea to factor those costs into your budget. If you're a light sleeper, consider requesting a room away from elevators or high-traffic areas. For the best experience, higher floors tend to offer quieter rooms and better views. Overall, this is a solid choice for business travelers, cruise passengers, or anyone looking for a convenient base to explore New Orleans. The location and amenities make it a great option, especially if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city.

Outstanding accommodations

A beautiful hotel tied to the WWII museum. The decor is all from the era. Our check in agent was very friendly and informative. The bed and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. We didn’t try the restaurant but we did enjoy coffee from the coffee bar. We will return again in the future when the d-Day portion of the museum is completed.
