Building site, semi naked men drinking and lighting bonfires in the car park, litter everywhere! After waiting nearly 2hrs in 30° heat to get in our room, we booked elsewhere
There is nothing to like about this property. They had no knowledge of my booking through Expedia when I ran to check but then subsequently told me that the room was still available and they booked the room directly for me. I heard nothing from them prior to my arrival regarding key code entry to the property and to the room. Having been informed the day before my arrival that they were open on the Saturday (the day of my arrival), when I phoned I got a message saying the office was closed so I had to ring the emergency number. I had to leave a voicemail but they did ring me back and informed me that the room I had booked was allocated to another customer!! They subsequently allocated another room at the same property. It was a very stressful time as we were attending the Take That concert and there was no accommodation available in the centre of Southampton so if they had not allocated me a room, we would have struggled to find a bed for the night. When we eventually got to the property, it was a disused public house that was still undergoing renovations and the property did not have hot water from the sinks and the workmen was still renovating. The room we originally booked had a toilet and shower but the room we were allocated simply had a bed and a sink and a chest of drawers. The communal shower and toilet was disgustingly dirty and I could not shower in it. Other people staying at the property had difficulty accessing their room too. Nightmare.
On going work in the property.
There was no water in the property so use for anything.
Staff were terrible, I have to call to get my access code and they end up giving wrong access codeI booked room 1 they put me in room 4. I called to find out why and they responded by text message and then closed work for the day.
