It was clean and the restaurant was good and reasonable. The room was so small you could barely move around. To use the toilet, you had to stand by the side or squeeze under the sink. On two occasions I had to call security because of the noise until almost midnight. One night the fire alarm went off at 3am. There were no amenities other than a hair dryer. You had to go to the bar to get ice. Staff was unsympathetic. Could not plug the coffee maker in because it was covered by the wardrobe. Did not feel very safe in that part of town. Probably the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. Does not seem to be up to Best Western's standards.

We do send security on round frequently in order not to have any noise after 10 pm. Peckham area it self is very popular and and lots of young generatino is moving in the area with excellent transportation hub.Area is not bas as you were thinking . Once again accept my sincere apology that you did not enjoy your stay with us.

Cute and cozy property. Newly renovated. Rooms are small. Has to live out of our open suitcases and pushed them under the bed so they were out of the way. Was crowded with four adults. Only other issue was that the street noise at night was loud. Not only traffic but people out in the streets yelling all night.

I’ve stayed here before, hey it’s a budget hotel. I booked to stay here last weekend, I arrived at the hotel and they had CANCELLED my hotel without informing me or informing Expedia. After multiple efforts with trying to contact the hotel through Expedia there was no feedback. Very disappointed with both the hotel & Expedia because I had to find a last minute hotel and paid 2x more what I had planned on. Very very disappointed.

After seeing the mixed reviews, we weren’t sure what to expect during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised. We booked a family room and there was plenty of room for my wife and I and our 3 kids. The beds were alright. Not the most comfortable but certainly not the worst I’ve ever slept at for a hotel stay. The continental breakfast was very good with a good assortment. The full English breakfast was also good. We ate at the pizzeria there a couple of times and it was alright. I would recommend eating in the city before coming back to the hotel. It is about a 45 minute bus ride from most sites in London itself but the bus stops are right outside the hotel so that makes it convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a good experience and we will be back the next time we are in London

Staff were very friendly. Do check the bed size when booking as the standard double is very small. The wifi is iffy as my tablet failed to get into it despite recognising it. It meant I could not check emails to organise the next day nor listen to Radio Caroline as they don't have DAB radios to listen to in the bedrooms.

It was a clean and tidy hotel. Staff was excellent and helpful. The situation of the hotel was so convenient to me since I had to visit a lot of places in London.

The staff was mostly nice, though certain staff seemed a little more than reluctant to help. Parking was terrible, if you were the last to park you had to back ALL the way out in the shape of an L. The rooms were not great either; the walls were so thin I could hear my neighbors talking at regular volume. Photos are deceiving, the rooms are TINY! Hardly any room to maneuver once you get inside. I'm not exactly tall (5'1) but I barely had room to sit on the toilet with my legs out in front of me, I had to sit to the side. There was no water pressure as well. The outside was fine until you stepped out of the gate; the area is dirty, the people are rude and it smells like stale garbage.

Staff are friendly in this relative cheap, but clean hotel. Never tried breakfast but dinner menu of chicken and pizzas is one of the best in the area! yum, yum!

Hi, I’ve wrote a complaint email direct to best west. The hotel was like a building site outside along with other matters I’m very Angry with our whole stay at the hotel. Somebody did call me from group and was supposed to call me yesterday but I’m still waiting for that call !! I’ve taken photos of the outside of the Hotel and carpet inside our room that my children and wife fell down while walking down the stairs. Resulting in my wife injuring her back. FUMING doesn’t even cover it!!

I was thoroughly disappointed by what the pictures of the hotel room showed versus what the actual hotel room looked like. We booked a king sized room, and received a full sized room. The room itself felt like a prison cell with how cramped we felt in the tiny room. The room made us feel extremely claustrophobic. There was no space for us to move around and we struggled with having an area to keep our luggage. I would not recommend this hotel to any tourists visiting London.

We booked a 3 bed room for 4 adults and the pictures online were not representative of the room we got. We were crammed into a narrow room with stairs to a loft that had a double and single bed jammed into it. No room to put our bags and a tiny toilet that you could barely turn around in. They advertised parking available but the parking lot was out of commission the entire 3 days we stayed and they had no alternative suggestions for parking. I had to ask repeatedly before I was given some direction on how to find somewhere to park.

Very clean room and spotless shower room. Accommodation not huge but adequate. Good English breakfast. Busy and slightly noisy location on main road. Overall reasonable value for money.

Woken up at 3am to be asked to leave the room as we didn’t pay. Then for security involved. Just because the hotel made an error. I proved that and they let me go back to the room. No apologies were given. Following evening our cards did not work to allow us to enter our room. Overall bad experience

Parking was on a first come first served basis. My room smells of damp towels as if the linen hasn't been dried properly. With my room being in the annexe it had more if a hostel feel.

Rooms are small. Construction was being done when I got there, but wasn't told before hand. The room I booked was unavailable when I got there, was given a smaller bed. Was given breakfast for the week, but constantly had to tell the front desk because it was never put on the acct. The restaurant staff were rude.

Clean and Affordable
The hotel is was clean and comfortable and the staff was great. The only downside to the property itself was the size of the room. Although it contained a King bed, there was very little space to store suitcases and still be able to move about. Not a big deal to us considering the price point. There is a large hospital somewhere near, as sirens could be heard nightly. We used Uber for all our travels and there was usually someone there in under 5 minutes. All in all, I can easily recommend this hotel.

The room was in a basement with no window. The room was too small to fit a standard sized suitcase without blocking the door. The power went out in the middle of the night. I wondered why the alarm clock was flashing when I checked in..hotel staff knew there were power issues and checked us in anyway. This experience was a safety nightmare. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

The hotel was under construction. There was signs of work throughout the property. The works began their hammering and drilling at 8 AM. The elevator input section of the hotel was out of order the entire length of our visit. It looked like it has been out for some time. We asked for our room to be serviced. The sheets were not replaced even though they were clearly dirty. One of the days we returned to find the pile of dirty towels and a trash bag on the floor under one of the beds. We had to call the front desk to send someone to take it out. The rooms were very small. But we anticipated that and it didn’t bother us too much. But the bathroom?! A 6 ft 3 in 200 lbs man could not fit through the shower door to enter the tiny shower. Extremely uncomfortable. Clearly designed to maximize the space and add more rooms. It was an extremely disappointing experience. I will not return to this hotel.
