A contemporary home boasting 2,500 square feet of impeccable craftsmanship, this secluded mountain retreat is perfect for up to 8 people. Bring your furry family, home is dog friendly. A gorgeous open kitchen features granite countertops and hardwood floors. The deck opens up to easy access to nearby hiking, biking and snowshoeing trails. Ideal for skiers, this mountain paradise is just 4 miles to Heavenly and 12 to Sierra at Tahoe.

This home cannot host more than 6 adults. This applies 24/7.

Parking is provided for up four vehicles maximum.

CDC-compliant cleaning & no-contact check-in.

Upstairs living with cathedral ceilings: The great room includes the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The slider provides easy access to the deck for Barbequing or enjoying a book while looking out to the USFS lot. Enjoy the views each side of the gas fireplace that is accented with log and stone. The highly desirable open kitchen has a large pantry, granite slab counters, stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors.

The Master bedroom is also upstairs and features a large master bath, with 2 separate vanities, spa tub and separate stall shower.

Downstairs there are 2 nice sized bedrooms, a large game room/family room with pool table and a slider to a large deck with a hot tub. A few steps down from the deck takes you to a natural landscaped yard with easy access to the nearby trails. There is also a large laundry room, with a sink.

Outside: This home is surrounded by forest and with two adjacent lots committed to conservancy, you will feel like you are in a secluded mountain retreat. From the front or back, you have easy access to miles of trails for hiking, biking, or snow shoeing. Your just two blocks to Trout Creek where you can explore the shallows for, you guessed it, Trout.

Skiing is just 4 miles to Heavenly Resort and 12 miles to Sierra at Tahoe

Lake Tahoe: ride your bike or take a short car trip to enjoy the lake. Rent an SUP or Kayak at Lakeview Commons just 4 miles away or explore the calm of Emerald Bay or the crushing roar of the waterfalls feeding it.

Night Life: Harrah's, Harvey's, Mont Bleu and now the Hard Rock Casino all await you just 4.6 miles away. Try your luck at the game tables or slots or catch a great music act. South Lake Tahoe is a great draw for some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Pets: 1-2 dogs allowed w/ pre-approval. No other animals allowed. Bring a crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, & any damage caused by dog(s).

The house was perfect for our group. Awesome location. Hot tub and pool table were wonderful! One tip: bring eye masks for sleeping because the rooms do not have blinds/curtains that cover the whole windows.

Amazing place, excellent service

We came up with our dog for the week - what a find! The house is wonderful, spacious and very dog friendly. Location is exceptional for walking access to several great trailheads. We found the hosts to be proactive, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this property and will definitely stay again.

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

Perfect family home nestled among the trees. We came up to ski and spend time as a family. The house was perfect for cooking meals, playing pool, and heading to the mountain. Comfortable, clean, and spacious for our family of four!

Wonderfully Clean Getaway

The property was incredibly clean with a variety of amenities and space for our group. We especially enjoyed the deck with a very clean grill. The game room and hot tub were extremely nice to have. Would absolutely visit again!

Not a bad place but the pre-stay interview was a little too much

Fantastic home in quiet neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to most things in South Lake Tahoe, and the house was exactly as shown/described in the photos and listing. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and upper deck most of all, but the entire house was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The only negative is the lack of complete window coverings in the main bedroom (seen in photos). We brought eye masks because the master bedroom (and honestly, most of the bedrooms) was flooded with light at sunrise. Bring an eye mask and it won't be a problem! The house was fantastic and we would love to return in the future.

Terrific Stay at Heavenly Retreat

We have rented homes in Tahoe for over 15 years, and this was the nicest one we have had. The home is attractive, clean, and well-maintained. The kitchen is spacious, and extremely well equipped. There wasn't a single thing missing that we needed. Appliances are new and high-end. There is a pool table and nice outdoor decks. There is a hot tub,but we didn't use it. The neighborhood was very quiet and conveniently located. Two things for renters to be aware of are that there is not a door to the bathroom in the main bedroom, and there are a lot of rather steep stairs. That made arrival and departure, with the packing and unpacking a challenge for some people. Overall, we highly recommend the home. We were also impressed with the communications with the RNR Vacation Rental company. Through e-mails and texts, they provided thorough information and responded quickly to any questions. Thank you to the owners and to RNR for a terrific stay!

We did breakfast and dinner. Cookware and utensils were in great shape. We used the hot tub daily after a great day of snowboarding. The pool table was a great addition. The home was in a very quiet area. It was close to restaurants, shopping and casinos. Although, it did not snow during our stay it was still very chilly. The gas fireplace was a warm welcome. The only part we disliked about the home was the sun coming in through the windows without window coverings. Usually, in the afternoon. The moon was full and that brightened up the master bedroom windows (with no window coverings) while we were sleeping. We were not used to that. That is just our personal opinion. All in all we had a great stay in your beautiful home.

We came for a week of skiing so we weren't in the house much except for breakfast, supper and sleeping. I would give the property a 5 except for a couple of minor things. First of all we used the hot tub every night when we got back(Hot tub worked perfect) but the deck up above the tub juts out about a foot over the tub. Because therewas snow and ice on it it would melt every day. As it melted in dripped over rusted drip edge of the deck onto the hot tub cover which would fill with water. it took 3 of us to open the cover because it was so heavy. then once your in the tub we had rusty water dripping on us. So that wasn't good but didn't stop us from using it. and the second thing was that for the amount of money spent on the rental you would think that they would have more than just mini basic TV. There were only 13 channels available of which 2 were Spanish channels, 2 were shopping channels, a couple of who knows what channels. So there really were only about 4 or 5 to watch. i mean come on.But other than that it was a good place to stay. I would recommend it to anybody who asked me.

Everything works, nothing out of place. Furnishings, amenities, appliances, all just what you'd want. It's clear the owners didn't skimp just because it's a rental - everything is of good quality and you can tell they thought about what you'd need to make your stay here feel practically luxurious. There were charging port stations on every nightstand, comfy bed linens and large, fluffy pillows. They even had large (quiet) air purifiers upstairs and downstairs, so even the breathing air was clean! The kitchen is well-stocked, the dishes and glasses sparkling, matching silverware, huge fridge, and a multi-function oven that I'd want in my own kitchen! Also there are brand-new, large capacity washer & dryer, again appliances that I would pick for myself if I could! It really felt like we were staying someplace where a close friend had set up the home for us after thinking of everything we'd want ahead of time! RnR provided just the right amount of info and checking in with us during our stay, just in case we needed anything. Also, I have to say that throughout every vacation rental process, the RnR folks have always been super-helpful, responsive, and personable - really GREAT customer service of the kind you rarely see anymore. Great house, great company - what more could you want?

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Wonderful stay, excellent house layout with a large kitchen, fun pool room, and a hot tub. Great time was had by grown-up kids, adults, and dogs.
