  • We are a newer short term rental in South Haven!

    Charming and cozy, bright and fresh, Stone’s Throw is ready to host your family for a fun filled vacation. Our 900 sq foot home is a ‘stone’s throw’ from all the adventures and activities of South Haven!
    We are about a 10 minute walk to downtown SoHa and a quick drive or bike ride to popular South Beach. And we are just a short distance to the many beaches, orchards, galleries, breweries and restaurants the area has to offer.
    Enjoy our updated home with many amenities to keep you comfortable during your stay.
    *Feel safe and confident in this *clean* and updated space. Washer/dryer in unit. Duvets and blankets and laundered after every stay.
    *Relax in the hot tub, and rinse off sand in the hot water outdoor shower.
    *Sleep well in the brand new beds and fresh linens.
    *Cook in the modern kitchen or on the outdoor gas grill. Many extras included, for example a built in reverse osmosis water filter, Vitamix blender, and dishwasher.
    *Savor the outdoors in a private, fenced in backyard that boasts a large patio, complete with plenty of outdoor furniture, gas fire pit, and corn hole game. *New storage shed availabe to store your bikes and other gear. We are haply to provide a 3D tour on request!

This is by far the cutest decorated, clean and they thought of everything place we have ever stayed at in South Haven. The owners were very easy to work with and I could go on and on about the house itself. I highly recommend this house. We will definitely be back!

A Perfect Get away

The place had everything we needed, from comfortable accommodations to essential amenities. The highlight of our stay was the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day. This cottage was outstanding—truly one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in! It had everything we needed and so much more. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and supplies, and we appreciated the abundance of towels, cleaning supplies, and even beach chairs provided. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus, and the outdoor shower was perfect after a day at the beach. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our stay both comfortable and relaxing. Fantastic Family Vacation Home

This house was the perfect home for a family vacation by the Lake. The house is exactly as the photos show, it was spotlessly clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything we needed and more. We really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs and the bikes. Communication with the owner was always quick and easy, checking into the house was really straightforward, the house is close to town and to the beach. Perfection!

We loved our time at Stones Throw SoHa. Laura thought of so many details and the house is stocked with anything you may need during your stay. Just a bike ride away from the new Kids Corner Park/Blue beach stairs and downtown. The backyard is private, a nice size, and the hot tub was amazing! We felt privileged to stay here and hope to do so again some time!

Lovely fall weekend

We had a lovely visit and enjoyed the property. The home is recently renovated, immaculate, and bright with modern decor. The owners have thought of everything, including a well-stocked cabinet filled with games, puzzles, and crayons for the kids. The weather was not great, but we got to enjoy the hot tub. We would definitely come back!

Great place for a long weekend getaway!

Stones Throw was the perfect place for a relaxing long weekend. It was immaculate and exactly as advertised. We loved the hot tub outside and the electric fireplace inside. Lots of beach/hot tub and shower towels all tightly rolled… very impressive! The kitchen was loaded with everything that we could have possibly needed. This house was perfect for our family of four. Easy to get around town- we did rent a golf cart to cruise around. Big thank you for making sure we had an extension cord. The owners thought of every potential need with this home; beach towels, beach bag, games, chip clips, down to make-up towels, oh- and a shoehorn that my son used everyday! The list goes on and on. So clean and space is so well used. Thank you and bravo!!

Perfect Stay!

Couldn't have been better. We were so impressed by how clean the home was and how many small details the hosts thought of. Perfect blend of practical and comfortable that so many short term rentals can't get right. Location is great - we walked to the beach and downtown everyday. Van Buren trail just a couple blocks away. Kids' Corner park 5-10 minute walk. Pickleball at the High School right around the corner (there's a good open play every morning around 8 on Saturdays and 7 M-Fri). We can't wait to go back!

Beautifully Renovated Home!

This is a beautifully recently renovated home on a quiet street north of downtown South Haven. Everything was like new, including the kitchen supplies. It was immaculately clean and furnished. As the listing notes, it’s 900 sq feet but it’s so well laid out that my family of four had no trouble with space at all. This is a real find!!

Relaxing long weekend

My husband and I had a long weekend planned and this rental fulfilled everything and more. Laura gave us an early check-in as well as a very extended check-out. The property is true to listing. Clean, cozy, very well-appointed. Everything has been thought through and then some. We were so impressed! We would go back if we had the chance!
