"Natalie have I been double charged the rooms were not clean. There was a strong propane or natural gas smell throughout the hotel. There was an absolutely no coffee anywhere to be found on property. There is no staff to help in the morning. There’s no breakfast. We went out there to stay because of the food and ended up sending everything back except for the Costco hummus that is served there. The bedding was absolutely horrible. It felt like burlap on your skin. It was noisy. I can go on and on however this place once was a gem. You have more amenities at a motel six. That’s really saying something. The view is spectacular, but that’s not enough. They really need to work on their customer service and training their staff now I have to straighten up being double charged for a room that wasn’t clean. There was barely any toilet paper in we had to provide our own toilet paper.The bartender was doing the best he could however support staff was lacking in supporting him. I regret staying there. For 30$ more could have stayed in a hotel in girdwood. Again the food was absolutely disgusting. "

"The property is right at the base of ski runs and very convenient with the Sitzmark bar attached and a cafe on the main level. There is also a store for wine and beer on the main level. Its a short walk to the day lodge for rentals and tickets. The room is pretty basic and cozy for a couple. Loved having a deck to sit outside under cover and enjoyed easy access to the bar and mountain. The bar offered trivia one night and always had a good crowd outside around the firepits. It’s really about the location and no frills that meets basic needs. The bed is low and quite firm with a plastic mattress covering under the sheets. We preferred to use the fake fireplace over the wall heater as the wall heater is loud. Internet worked great. Shower fan is also noisy. Parking was busy our first day but spots opened like it said very close in the afternoon. Appreciated all the hanging hooks and extension cords. We would definitely stay again. "

"The house was in a great location, walking distance in the summer months but we drove while on our stay because of all the snow. Its a very beautiful home and had everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed that each of our three couples had their own ensuite bathroom in the king bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again."
