Great BnB

Posted 21-Aug-2015
Nice gem only 2 blocks away from downtown Sorrento. Very friendly staff, nice courtyard, spacious rooms with AC that actually get cold versus most of Italy and Europe. Despite only blocks from downtown Sorrento and beach it is very quiet. Highly recommend!

Great location

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Warm welcome, staff very helpful and gave us maps to find our way around. Very close to old town and port, all walking distance. Pretty gardens and quiet location. Staff helped us book an excursion to Pompei and Capri by boat which we would definitely recommend, all transport was of a high standard and on time, great staff and we were very well looked after all day. Hotel also booked us a taxi to return to the airport, also very high standard and prompt. Very nice hotel and would stay there again

Elegant and friendly small hotel

Posted 20-Jul-2015
Pros: Covered above. We liked the whole experience.
Cons: The coffee machine can be a challenge to non-Italians, but we worked it out!
Location: As stated, Angiolina is just outside the old walls. The historic centre is small, so everything is near by.
We stayed a week in the Gardenia room, which is a good size and simply but well designed. Breakfast was on the terrace by the beautiful and peaceful front garden. The buffet is continental with adequate choice. The location is just outside the old town walls so everything in the centre, including the port and the train station, is within easy walking distance. All the hotel staff were friendly and capable; the tours they booked up for us worked well. As a small hotel Angiolina does not have 'big-hotel' features like conference rooms but it is a very good choice for anybody who is looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay close to the old city.

Quiet and tranquil beatiful gardens

Posted 08-Jul-2015
Beautiful hotel in a very private quiet setting. The grounds are lush and well kept and have beautiful gardens to sit and enjoy. The rooms were updated with all modern amenities, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with many local fruits, pastry, meat and cheeses. The staff was fantastic and attentive. Short easy 5min. walk down mild hill to center of Sorrento. We would absolutely stay there again and would recommend this place to a friend.

A peaceful, pretty, oasis...

Posted 20-Jun-2015
Pros: There is an excellent staff team, it is a very convenient location, and beautifully maintained property.Surrounded by pretty floral displays.Fabulous.
Cons: Only one small suggestion of improvement, would be that the towels were not soft and fuffly, although always clean and changed very regularly.
Location: The location was close to Sorrento town centre, yet quiet enough to be be away from the town centre noise. A choice of resturants close by.
We stayed here for the whole of our 14 day vacation. We were very pleased with our choice. The owners and staff are all very kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts were always fresh, tasty, with a variety to meet all pallates. A large variety of fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, cereals, pastries, hot and cold drinks. Loved the orange, lemon and carrot juice! Sitting eating breakfast, listening to the birds singing, surrounded by beautiful floral displays, made every morning so worthwhile and a wonderful start to our days adventure. Our appartment was cleaned thoroughly every day, and it was noticable each evening when we returned, such a blessing. We would highly recommend Villa Angiolina to anyone, and those who do not take on our recommendation, really do 'miss out' on a truly wonderful holiday destination to stay.

A quiet oasis away from the hustle of Sorrento. lovely garden full of bird song yet only a few minutes stroll into shops and restaurants.Rooms are well furnished and spotlessly clean.the only thing needed is a kettle for making a cuppa.Breakfast was plentiful and served in the garden.A very enjoyable stay
