Lovely peaceful retreat.

Posted 04-Jun-2017
Pros: Everything about this hotel really is lovely.
Location: The hotel is within easy walking distance of the old town and the marina.
This is a lovely hotel which is a wonderful, peaceful place to return to after a day's sightseeing. The staff are really friendly and helpful and everywhere is tastefully decorated and spotlessly lean.

City centre position

Posted 05-May-2017
this is a great little bed & breakfast close to city centre 10 minute walk it is in an old villa that has been renovated to a high standard. It is in a quiet spot with lovely gardens all round rooms are spacious and very comfortable The only thing that might be better is that you get your breakfast served to your room you could perhaps take the table inside if its a bit chilly in the morning and also I like more than one coffee for breakfast but apart from that there's plenty. The staff there are very helpful and obliging. Note if arriving or leaving by taxi show the driver the hotel map as it is not easily found and is not easily accessible by car. Excellent place to stay!

Quiet hotel very central to all Sorrento amenities

Posted 29-Apr-2017
Pros: Very peaceful yet close enough to everything very quiet at night if the other guests are respectful and room cleaned on a daily basis.
Cons: Breakfast doesn't start until 07.30 which can be too late for tours etc and flights had to miss 2 days paid for due to this so this matter needs fixed
Location: Location is good for everything i suggest getting the train for Pompeii etc and using an ARTECARD as travel is free easy pick up for tours etc also
Hotel is tucked away down the r/h side/rear of the hotel Leone access is via electronic swipecard which does the entrance gate and your room. Staff are very good and prepared to help when asked and the room was immaculately clean with free tea/coffee making facilities shower and bidet and very comfy queen bed. WI FI is free and easy to link up to with a good signal. I asked for a terrace and got the one right next to hotel entrance door with a lovely garden/mountain view see photos. The hotel was very central to all of the main parts of Sorrento train/bus station/Tasso square 10-15 mins walk away with the port and marina grande about 20 mins area is pretty straightforward to work out where everything is. Had a stomper above us for the 1st 3 days (not the hotels fault) who along with her companion were pretty loud at times late on at night and were distracting for a short while. That apart and compared to other hotels in the area this represented excellent value for money for what you get reviews are all true as it is an excellent place to stay in Sorrento.

Outstanding hotel - highly recommended

Posted 21-Apr-2017
Pros: Everything! Lovely staff, beautiful accommodation and grounds, great location.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Very safe location, short walk from main piazza, public transport and marina. We easily accessed Pompeii and Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius, Amalfi Coast
Staff made us feel really welcome, and happily accommodated several early morning starts, leaving our breakfast trays in our room the evening before and offering the choice of a packed lunch or breakfast tray on our final day (had to leave at 5:45am). Beautiful accommodation and grounds - very quiet and all kept immaculately clean. Loved being able to eat our breakfast outside on our own private patio area surrounded by trees and flowers and the scent of jasmine. Also appreciated the attention to detail and little touches that made our stay extra special - monogrammed slippers, beautifully packaged toiletries and one day we returned to find a basket with small chocolate eggs as we were staying over Easter. On the practical side we had an in-room safe, tea/coffee making facilities in our room and a hairdryer was provided. The hotel is only about 20 minutes from the station and 30 minutes to the marina - great area. We had a fantastic stay and were really sorry to leave. We'd definitely stay at Relais Villa Angiolina again and highly recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable, good location, great staff

Posted 10-Apr-2017
Very friendly and helpful staff throughout stay. Decent sized room and bathroom with nice view of a garden area. Very convenient location for train station, buses and town. Parking costs extra but in a secure gated compound with plenty of free bays. Really enjoyed our visit.

Convenient for sight seeing

Posted 07-Apr-2017
Lovely and clean hotel- more than adequate for a good nights rest after sight seeing. There isn't a lot to do in the hotel- you wouldn't want to stay in it all day- but perfect if you want to go out and about.
