The villa is ideal for a couple and Pete and Jools have thought of everything required to make your stay extremely comfortable. The view from the terrace is amazing and so peaceful. Although we only used the pool a couple of times it is beautifully kept and the flowers and plants surrounding it are lovely. Pete and Jools gave us good recommendations on where to visit and for restaurants and the highlight was a visit to The Home restaurant in Palombaro - definitely recommend. This area of Italy has everything, beautiful scenery from the mountains to the sea, lots of little villages to explore and we particularly enjoyed our trips to Scanno and Rosacarro. Our apartment (Dolce cinguettio) was a large, clean and fully furnished self-catered accommodation, on ground floor, step free access from the private parking. The room has a functional gas hob, a microwave and a small fridge with cookware. Conveniently located within literally a few minutes driving distance from Pettorano and Sulmona. The location of the house is very quiet and peaceful, with cool evenings with a gentle pleasant breeze. Warmly recommended. The outdoor garden was delightful. A special thank you to our host, available when we needed him or for chatting. We will be back! Presso Il Poggio dei Pettirossi abbiamo trovato: pace, comfort, privacy rispettosa e un’ospitalità calda e accogliente.
