Amazing Stay at the Kingfisher Lodge
We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher Lodge in Somerset. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to everything we needed. We arrived to find a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us, which was a really thoughtful touch and made our first evening feel extra special. Being greeted by the ducks was an unexpected highlight and added to the charm of the place. The lodge was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Overall, a great stay — we’d happily return!

Lovely break
We had a wonderful stay in this very well equipped lodge beside the lake. We used to love watching the ducks each day waddling by. Very clean accommodation and well kept. The peace and quiet was just what we needed. Would definitely like to return here.

Tranquil peaceful setting
We enjoyed our break so much at this lovely lodge, the setting ideal down a lane across a large field. A large pond where the ducks greet you. The lodge is so comfortable and clean, king size beds in generous size rooms with lovely en-suite’s. The lounge dining/ kitchen area are a good size and modern with everything you would need for self catering. I would say because it’s a four person property it needs a 4 slice toaster , otherwise perfect. We will certainly go back soon

Peace and quiet ideally located
The lodge was exactly as described and perfect for our needs for a week away for peace and quiet. Ideally located with plenty to do only a short distance away and would recommend to everyone. The bird life was extraordinary especially the Indian Runner Ducks who constantly made us smile.
Cannot fault the owners, friendly and approachable. The spacious lodge was beautiful, I'm a selfish person and wished the sofas were recliners so I could put my feet up X fantastic holiday!!!

Oven & Twin bedded room.
We had a lovely stay here, & enjoyed the company of the ducks, however we did notice the oven itself needed a good clean, and sadly the twin bedded room was not converted to a double bed as was promised.
Lovely, spacious lodge with everything we needed for our stay. Comfy beds, lovely bathrooms - it even had a dishwasher which wasn't mentioned and a few dishwasher tablets were provided. The hot tub was wonderful and is situated on a lovely deck with a brilliant view of the countryside and little lake - we really enjoyed watching the birds and rabbits. The outside table and chairs were great for alfresco dining to make the most of the view! Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We had a brilliant time and would definitely stay here again!
