Lovely stay. Room way lovely we felt so looked after. The lady was very welcoming and took really good care of us. She went the extra mile and dealt with my dietary requirements. She made sure I had gluten free and vegetarian sausages.
The room is described as having wifi. That’s very much not the case . Either needs to be provisioned properly with an extender or described as no wifi in room. Room is in need of update and new carpet . Otherwise comfy , cosy , nice bed , decent shower .
Good poached eggs on toast . Ample parking
Liz and Debbie were very helpful. The room was cool, which was a Godsend in light of the hottest day ever. The bar, for breakfast, also was. We were sad the pub did not provide evening dinner, but we found lovely restaurants nearby to choose from. Very nice stay.
A rather tired hotel in need of some redecoration and repairs.
No food available in the evening which was not mentioned in the write up.
Had hoped for better

Value room in a quaint Somerset village
Great value place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. A very clean room and lovely comfortable bed for a good nights sleep after a busy day. Yes, the rooms are tired but still good value with breakfast included. Quaint village too. I'd stay again
Reduced staff did not affect the great service. Clean, newly refurbished room. Very comfortable bed, excellent shower. Great full English breakfast. We love staying in pubs and this one did not disappoint.
Lovely quiet pub, very welcoming and great cider! Room was basic but very clean. Bed comfy and shower really good. Top notch breakfast. Would absolutely stay there again.

Disliked: Amenities
The room was noisy During the night because you could hear neighbouring guests talking and using the toilet and walking around on the wooden floors. Extractor fans in neighbouring rooms could be heard. No drinking water supplied in the room and no tea making facilities.
Very enjoyable stay in a quaint old fashioned pub / B&B.
Made a change from a staying in more contemporary accommodation. Good service and a warm welcome. A good location for exploring he surrounding area. Also in a peaceful location.

Nice spot for a rest after a long day of walking!
Great pub and hotel located in Somerset, close to the Devon border. A great spot for those on walking holidays and looking to enjoy the countryside! The owners and staff are wonderful and friendly and take good care of you! The pub serves hearty dinners and a fantastic cooked breakfast. Lovely beer garden as well out back. The village is quiet and you’ll sleep very well!
Beautiful little find in a gorgeous location but easy to commute out to the bigger towns. And a beautiful breakfast

Gorgeous old coaching inn
Really good welcome as we came down a day late due to home circumstances.. had a late cooked breakfast .. very friendly landlord and landlady .. gorgeous old listed coaching inn in a tiny village ... lots of character but needed some general TLC .. bear in mind you are staying in a very old inn .. it’s not a modern pub .. I loved it .. breakfast ok and evening meals good value and tasty home cooked food .. the apple and forest fruit pic was delicious.. beautiful village and very quiet for a peaceful sleep . Would stay again
Nice traditional country pub with lovely owners, very friendly.

Very good value for price. The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly.
Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. When I couldn’t get a taxi to the station at the end of my stay one of the ladies gave me a lift! You can’t get more customer-friendly than that. The hotel was full so that speaks volumes as well, and I would definitely stay there again
Just loved the local nature and it was brilliant for me at the time....

Staff were very pleasant and I stayed in The Hayloft room which was basic but clean and tidy.
Service at breakfast was good and the staff keen to please.
