Please see uploaded Virtual Tour (Condo has been updated since Virtual Tour was listed. See uploaded video for updated look) Furnished - 2 Bedroom 2 Full Bath – Single level on West (Beach) Side This updated condo is in Solana Beach located on the bluffs above the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Just blocks away from the world famous Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds. Del Mar Beach Club is a private/gated ocean front complex. This fully furnished condo sleeps 4 people – the master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has 2 single/twin beds. We are permitted for 5 people but do not have an additional bed for the 5th person. All appliances in the kitchen are stainless steel and granite counter tops. LCD Flat screen TV with Cable TV and DVR ready so you don’t miss any of your favorite shows. Big screen TV’s in each bedroom. WIFI high Speed internet access included. You will have an assigned parking spot. Can provide a second assigned parking spot if requested. Quest parking is available with a quest parking pass. There is a full size washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. When coming up from the beach there is a Club House/Lounge that is on the ground level on the way back to the unit. The Club House/Lounge area has a bathroom with a hot shower down the hall. The Club House/Lounge overlooks the ocean and has a large center fireplace for lounging and watching the sunsets. Quick Beach Access: There is a private wide staircase just steps away from the unit built into the cliff leading from the complex to the beach that is much more private due to limited access. AMENITIES: Oceanfront Swimming Pools 2 of them on the Bluff and another pool across the street on the non-beach side. There is also another pool that is heated all year right next to our condo which also has a large sauna and indoor 7 Person Jacuzzi, bathroom with showers, BBQ’s and Gym Work Out Room (18 years of age or older only. At onsite office you would need to sign a waiver form and deposit $50.00 for the key which will be refunded once the key is returned). There are 2 tennis courts( Also will need a deposit and key from onsite office). Nearby there are grocery stores, restaurants, banks and lots of great shopping. VIEWS Complex sits on the bluff with fantastic ocean views by sitting at the pool or sitting at the view deck just steps away from the condo. Also enjoy the view in the enclosed clubhouse/Lounge that overlooks the ocean also just steps from the condo. This condo does NOT have an ocean view Please Note: No Ocean View from unit. We truly enjoyed the quick beach access and super close proximity to the pool. The beach was fantastic and never crowded. Great family times. We enjoyed how close it was to Del Mar Race track since this was the main reason we were visiting. When we arrived, I was surprised to find that it was so much nicer than it appeared in the photos. The owner is very responsive and super nice. The unit is right next to the pool, you can see it from the dining room. I hopped in the hot tub every morning. There are two beautiful ocean-front pools. It's literally just a few steps to the stairs to the beach, which feels private and the waves are excellent for boogie boarding and body surfing. There were lots of surfers, too. There's a huge deck with nice deck chairs and benches for watching the sunsets. Lots of friendly people around. There is no AC in the unit and we were there in hot, hot July, but there were several fans that we situated to keep the air circulating and it was fine. Close to the freeway, very easy to get to and close the shops on Cedric. We had a beautiful, relaxing time with our little family of four. Thanks, Kim!!!! ##### BERNICE B. The beach club, access to the pool and access to the beach are fantastic, but the condo itself was not great. To begin with, the Del Mar Beach Club is a quiet spot, and the beach was great and pretty private/quiet as well. There are a lot of steps to get down the cliff, but you can see those in the pictures so that was fine. It's only about a 5 minute walk to the beach from the condo. The beach club is right by the Del Mar race track, and traffic was very congested due to an event there. The pool is right outside the back door from the condo and again was never very busy. We enjoyed that. Things we didn't like: The check-in instructions we received from Homeaway were apparently not the instructions the manager expected us to get. A few phone calls upon arrival (she was very helpful) got us in, so it was only a mild irritation. The condo itself smells very musty/damp. We opened windows and ran fans the whole time we were there and it helped a little, but not much. There were lots of little things that just show a lack of attention to detail throughout; I won't list them all but there were enough for us to notice. The wifi was a constant struggle; kept having to reset it to get signal and even then you wouldn't get it out in the living room, only back in the master bedroom where the router is located. We've stayed at many Homeaway/VRBO places, and every other place there has been some sort of note/instruction out on a counter or table for you to help explain the rules and also welcome you to your vacation rental. In this case, we had to search through the drawers and found a stack of old papers and the instructions for check-out were somewhere in the middle of the stack of paper. In the end, we enjoyed the location and access to the beach and pool, but the rest was average. ##### Al C. All the glass tables were dirty, top and under. Windows look like they haven't been cleaned in years. They really need invest a tiny bit of money into fixing this place up. Rugs in the bathrooms were tattered and heavily stained. The master bed is falling apart and leveled with books. Need to clean under the bed and other furniture. Cupboards were unusable. We cleaned the counters and stored our pantry items on the counter. Condo had everything you might need and really close to the pool. Beach is very close and not crowded. Not too far from Disney Land. San Diego is really close too. It was a relaxing quiet trip with everything we wanted to do a short drive away. Kim communicated very well with us. We are already planning our next trip! ##### Paul H. No need to cross major streets or anything. The heated pool and hot tub are also steps from the condo. The grill is in the pool/hot tub area and we used it one night without any issues. Another bonus was the beach toys and buckets. I noticed on the last day that there is a large umbrella for the beach in the closet but we never used it. Beach towels are not provided so be sure to bring your own. You will also want to bring coffee filters, shampoo, conditioner and some of the basic cooking supplies you may need (olive oil, Pam, spices, etc.). The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen supplies we needed (skillets, pots, measuring cups, etc.). It was nice having a TV in every room with DVR capability on the TV in the living room. Living room also has a DVD player. The full size washer and dryer was also very convenient. We stayed with our 5 year old son and the place was more than enough room for the 3 of us. We went to Legoland 2 days in a row and it was an easy 15-20 minute drive from the condo. We hope to stay here again in the future. ##### Ryan L. There were just a couple of small issues but once we notified her, she got right on it and took care of all of our needs. I would definitely return to this property. ##### Jan H.
