Everything about this place is top notch. Our room had a great Ocean view. Breakfast buffet downstairs was a great value. Even after a terrible experience sitting on a wet chair from a spill from a previous diner, I would go back. Overall the hotel was very relaxing and had everything nearby so it was an all inclusive experience. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Perfect place to stay with a young family. All the amenities you need on site.
Pros:
Rooms were very nice--spacious and clean.
Convenient parking
Convenient to arcade
Convenient to seven-11
Beautiful views of the water, although the walkway to catch the sunrise was blocked off for security.
Cons:
Had to pay for EVERYTHING--you had to buy water shoes to swim in the pool. I wanted to just sit with my family at the pool, but I would have had to buy water shoes to do so, so I didn't. Once you buy water shoes, you need to pay for towels and a chair by the pool. The pool looks much better in pictures...the water was pretty dirty and smelly.
No coffee in the rooms or early morning available before 10 am. You have to buy canned cold coffee from seven-eleven and store in the refrigerator.
Restaurants on site were empty so it made us doubt the quality and we went elsewhere.
It’s not a new building but is maintained and managed well. The staff members we interacted with (check-in, water park, front concierge, etc) were all very courteous and helpful. (Overall their English was not so fluent, so my husband had a bit of difficulty communicating, but not a big problem.) Spacious lobby and kids-friendly facilities. There were a lot of people with little kids, but it never felt crowded or chaotic. Rooms and bathroom had great ocean views. We enjoyed the beautiful paths around the hotel to walk around. I got the superior suit with 2 rooms and got to use the members lounge, which had an LP player and a beautiful view. The only thing I’m not too impressed with is their restaurant options and the quality of coffee/food. It’s nice that there’s a 711 store at the basement. Overall a great stay & I’d definitely come back.
A good hotel. Staff are very welcoming and helpful although if you are an English speaker make sure you have a translator on your phone, as hotel geared for Korean guests.
Main restaurant needs booking and prepare to queue for breakfast.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
It was right on the water. Views from hotel very nice.
First Class Hotel! Highly recommend staying at Lotte Resort if you are visiting Sokcho South Korea! Large clean room with gorgeous views. An amazing walking trail along the ocean and beautiful landscaped areas. Everything available on the resort for a relaxing vacation!
Stayed at the Condo. Good views. Nice pool. But hotel is in an isolated area. Too far away to walk to the various restaurants or attractions. Overpriced.
Gorgeous. Spacious rooms, everything was comfortable and extremely clean. The grout was even gleaming! Convenient and varied dining options, a convenience store on the property, super easy to use self-service laundry. Beautiful views of the water. And the staff were all so gracious and helpful. We picked this spot for some R&R midway through our Korea trip and could not have been more pleased. Very highly recommended!
The resort was located on top of the hill with such beautiful view. For checking in, if you booked through other websites such as Expedia, hotel.com, etc., you have to use the kiosk. You can use self check in kiosk but you wouldn't be able to have closer rooms if you booked more than one. Besides that, check in process was good. The resort had a sauna which was really nice. The first floor near the check in counter had kids' play area with affordable price and underground had arcade and a coffee shop. The room was clean and the bathroom was really nice with great water pressure. We really enjoyed our room, since we had the ocean view. The brunch buffet had lots of options. If you have family with kids, I would definitely recommend this resort.
First of all, the staff were really professional and nice. The viewfrom the room was great, too. One drawback is that I wish I could have known in advance on the website that I needed to wear aqua shoes to enter the infinity pool. Also, I didn't quite understand why the check-in process starts at 3 PM. Even if entering the room is from 3 PM, I wish I could have checked in earlier.
