Lovely historic property located on the fjord. When we were there in September the restaurant wasn't open for dinner so we had to find other options in the area. Parking is a bit of a squeeze for sure, but they did have it on site. Overall a lovely stay while in Sogndal.

Property and room were great. Beautiful views and lovely pool plus boats at the dock! Breakfast was great. We were lucky to get a parking spot with EV charging. But parking was very tight and limited.

The staff was wonderful! So pleasant and helpful. We slept in late and they were kind enough to allow us to take breakfast to our room on a tray. The hotel is beautiful and very cozy. The views are splendid !! Would most certainly stay here again!

A real pleasure to stay. Very kind and helpful staff. Cosy room, comfortable bed, extra pillows available. Beautiful classical Norwegian building close to the city center. We forgot our swimming gear, unfortunately as te pool looked tempting. Breakfast, excellent choice of food and tables with a view.

The hotel is quite old. On the positive side, the breakfast is decent, and there is a beautiful path along the waterfront where you can go for a walk. You can also rent a boat for a trip around the fjord. On the downside, the room is very small, and the bathroom is the smallest I have ever seen. The ice cream at the bar is stored in a refrigerator together with lemons and some other things that I couldn’t identify. I would not recommend getting it. Swimming pool is smaller than on photos and cold.

This hotel is lovely!! Our room was spectacular and had an amazing view of the water! The only reason that I gave the hotel a 4 for the helpfulness of the staff was because we had to check out one day early and there was no assistance to get reimbursed for the night we would not be able to stay. Maybe if they could rent the room they could reimburse us? But no offer was given. The amenities looked nice but weather was not good so we did not get to use the pool. Breakfast was good.
