No other place can beat the convenience of this location. You can hop on the Shinkansen within minutes, making travel incredibly easy. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which featured many local ingredients and specialties. Another thoughtful touch was the option to use the breakfast voucher at the station café, where it could even be applied toward lunch. I found this flexibility very convenient and appreciated the hotel’s attention to guests’ needs.

The hotel looks down from a hilltop over the castle park and city and bay to the volcano. It is clearly a beloved landmark and reminded me of marquee properties in US resorts 50 years ago. Completely in a good way.

I ve stayed here before. I picked it because of its location in case of rain. The bus station pick up for KOJ (¥1500) is downstairs, great Indoor Yatai stalls downstairs (go to the sushi bar #6 and get tamagoyaki - absolutely excellent dashi), easy walk to the trolley, JR Station, and major malls. The front desk staff is excellent. Very knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful. Oh...and for those that care, diverse. I typically like to write more about the extra things staff does to help. They went out of their way to accommodate my cousin whose phone stopped working.and they helped her. She couldn't get her pockettalk working...they helped her. Just to be able to ask someone for help is great. Other places just push people off by saying sorry. This place rocks. Our visit was short and sweet. We'll be back!

The view of the volcano was immaculate every morning of my 2 night stay. Thankful for the staff for getting me a corner room on the 11th floor. Laundry was easy to use, bathtub was awesome as it also had a view of the volcano and after walking all day the sauna on the 1st floor was a great end of day treat!

Tomoko from the concierge team was amazing. The rooms are also great. Highly recommend
