  • Mountain Lodge 355 is a two-bedroom unit in the center of Snowshoe Mountain Resort, adjacent to the ski lift and the Village. Once you arrive, park in the security-guarded lot, and you won’t have to drive again until you are ready to leave. The Village restaurants and shops are only a few steps away! This condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom features one queen-sized bed with an en-suite full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom also has a queen-sized bedroom.
    No pets. No smoking. No bikes inside condos. Quiet hours are from 10PM-8AM.

The property could definitely use some updating, but overall it served its purpose for our trip. When we arrived, we noticed some wear and tear — peeling wallpaper, smoke detectors that weren’t properly mounted, and carpets coming up a bit around the edges. The TVs were quite small, and the one in the master bedroom didn’t work during our stay.That said, everything else was functional, we slept well at night, and the price was fair for what we were looking for. With a little maintenance and attention to detail, this could be a really nice place.

Great Stay...Stove Needed Repair

On day one of our 5 day stay, the large burner/eye on the electric stove stopped working. We notified the front desk. There was also a cracked wine glass and the dinner plates had been put up wet. When we pulled out five plates an ounce or two of water poured out over my wife's face and the counter. The next day I sent an email to the property owner. The stove was never repaired and no one ever came to check it (we had someone in the condo at all times). The condo is rated for 6 and we had 6 adults but there is only seating for 4 adults at the table. Thankfully we had two ice-chests that we used as chairs for the table. Two cheap folding chairs tucked away in a closet would have easily solved this problem. So, plan ahead. Beyond that, it was a nice visit. We had a nice stay.
