In the evenings, gather around the firepit for starlight conversation and maybe a S'more or two. Designed for modern comfort, the home comes well-appointed with updated fixtures and amenities. Boasting strong natural lighting and an open floor plan, the main floor welcomes household living with space to spread out. Relax beside the gas fireplace in the living room while enjoying a movie night on the flatscreen TV or kick-back with a good book in the sunny sitting area. The sleek, updated kitchen features a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including dual ovens and a dishwasher - ready to handle family style meals with ease. There's barstool seating for four and an eat-in dining table set for six. The primary suite and a second en suite bedroom can be found upstairs. The primary suite features a walk-in closet, smart TV, private balcony, and attached bathroom with a gorgeous clawfoot tub and standalone shower. A magical escape awaits downstairs in the "Honeycomb Hideaway" - perfect for kids, this room features a custom bunk nook with a hidden play area stocked with toys and games. It was absolutely beautiful there. Right on the lake, awesome view. Location was great. A short 30 minute drive to anywhere we wanted to go, covington, Atlanta, shops, restaurants, you name it. The only issue we had was the the 4 twin sized beds only because our daughters are all teenagers, but they managed, lol. The decks off the home and the dock were great to sit outside and enjoy the views and the outdoors. Easy access to get inside and connect to the wifi. The neighborhood was perfect for dog walking. Everyone we encountered was friendly. The location is central to restaurants and Stone Mountain Park. The house itself is open and allowed easy interaction among family members whether in the kitchen, dining room or kitchen. Although our grandson didn’t use the area, the basement set-up is amazing!! Our other daughter and her three kids would have loved it!! The second bedroom upstairs can accommodate a couple; just push the twin beds together for a king. They were not able to correct the issues before my stay ended but it was a minor inconvenience and the property manager communicated that they could not fix the problem quickly. To me, communication was handled so promptly that it didn't matter. Besides the lake, the views each morning, and the cleanliness of the overall property made a great week to come home each night after working in the area all day. Hope to stay again soon. Our last morning here, I…… Got up and made coffee in the coffee maker, and sat for a while in the breakfast nook bar area overlooking the back deck and a beautiful view of the lake. This bat and view was our favorite part of the house! Then moved to the back deck for another perfect view and setting, and Then - once things warmed up, went downstairs to the screened in porch for another perfect few minutes of sitting and relaxing. Kitchen was well-equipped and “happily” bright from the many windows on the main floor. Bathrooms and showers were excellent and the master bath on upper floor has a beautiful “claw foot” tub with a perfect view of the water. Host was extremely helpful and accessible via text if needed. We look forward to the possibility of making a return trip in the fall!! ##### jeff c. There was 1 Master bedroom and 2 guest beds with Twin mattress in each . There were lots of cob webs everywhere but I understand that. What I didn't like was that there was a card table for the dinning table. I asked about it before we arrived and was lied to. Also the dryer was broken but we didn't realize it until AFTER we had washed all of our clothes, this made our last day very frustrating. Lastly, you can see the lake from almost every room, including the master bathroom and there are no blinds on any of the windows. This made me really uncomfortable at night because anyone can see right into the house and bathrooms. No one else in the reviews mentioned this, so I felt the need to say that. I think I would stay here again because it was a really nice property but just a few fixes would make this AMAZING. ##### Marilyn Y.
