"We had a week here in September (10-17th) and loved every minute. We saw otters from the shore one day and did walks in every direction from the house. The weather treated us quite kindly and we managed to be outdoors for a good part of each day without getting (too!) wet. The house was so comfortable and well set up it was always a pleasure to return to. We slept so well too…all the fresh air and a super comfy bed. A great location for exploring Skye and the Glenelg area too."

The Pine Martens came every night for the jam butties and eggs we put out for them. We even saw a Golden Eagle flying overhead. Walk down the path towards the Castle and there are seals on the rocks. "We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"Home is a bit off the beaten path but wonderful accommodations and location. Very roomy with large kitchen and front sitting room. Views of the Atlantic were as promised and there were flowers everywhere. There is a wonderful local pub and hotel restaurant only a very short stroll away"
