Boutique Vineyard Stay at Painted Prairie

10/10 Excellent
"What an unforgettable 40th birthday weekend! My sister and I were gifted this stay by our parents to celebrate our milestone birthdays with our boyfriends, and it exceeded every expectation. Growing up nearby, I already had a soft spot for the area, but Painted Prairie Vineyard takes it to another level. Our tent looked out over the lush vines onto a tranquil small pond—absolutely picturesque. The attention to detail is remarkable. The space was stunning, incredibly comfortable, and felt far nicer than high-end hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. To top it off, the owner personally coordinated delicious birthday cakes inside each of our tents—such a thoughtful, personal touch! Check-in was seamless, the staff showed us around, and the nearby shower and bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean and convenient. In the evening, we enjoyed live music, incredible wood-fired pizzas, and mouthwatering cookie skillets for dessert. They even provided full campfire supplies, though it was a bit too windy for us to light one up. Overnight, a rainstorm hit with strong winds, but the tents proved incredibly sturdy—not a single drop leaked, and we felt completely safe (though having accessible storm shelters nearby added extra peace of mind). This stay is a true bucket-list experience. I highly recommend it to anyone and am already looking forward to booking my next stay for a girls' trip!"
