"Fabulous stay, very querky and very interesting link to Bram Stoker. The staff kindly let us see the visitors book showing Bram Stokers entry and made for a good couple of hours browse if u like that kind of history. Also close to Slains Castle, just a short walk away. Very enjoyable stay."

"Nice grounds and nice room, poor selection of lager. Service lets it down. Few days of no response prior to the visit via hotel.com messaging followed by a couple of days of no answer on the telephone. slow service at evening meal then terrible service at breakfast. Had to leave the breakfast table for work after waiting 38 minutes for scrambled egg. After noting everyone dining at 33 minutes i prompted them then they brought the wrong dish. Having to leave mid meal to check out didnt leave a good final memory"

"Property in a great location, walking distance to Seal Beach and close to other areas of attraction. Sharon the host, very friendly and flexible. Appreciated the food and drinks left for us, lovely touch. House tidy and clean on arrival. Area very friendly. House very suitable for our dogs as kitchen/dining area to the back of the house so not disturbed by passers by. House was a good price for the week, and had read previous reviews, therefore knew that the house needs upgrading and repaired in places. Had a lovely relaxing holiday."
