In the evening you can barbecue together and watch your children play and romp on the lawn.



Pack your beach bag and fishing equipment and secure your dinner from the shore where you can catch sea trout and horn fish. Bathing jetties have been set up along the beach for swimming, fishing and sunbathing. Take a trip to Stillinge beach, where there is an almost southern atmosphere throughout the summer. The short distance to the golf course and the lively commercial town of Slagelse also offer you many opportunities. Slagelse is also home to one of Denmark's largest barracks, so every Wednesday you can experience the guard hussars riding through town. Also worth a visit is Birkegårdens Haver, a large adventure garden with animals and a playground. If you are a Viking, it is worth visiting the Viking castle Trelleborg near Hejninge.

Gerlev play park between Slagelse and Skælskør is an all-time place if you want to be active with the whole family, here you can play old games collected from all over Europe during the last 1000 years and in high season game instructors start common games among all visitors.
