Beautiful lake side cottage in the heart of Connemara
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous property, stunning views and the pictures really don’t do it justice. Not one but two en-suites - great when you have teenage kids! Mary has thought of everything, there are even comfy chairs by the windows so you can just relax and take in the lovely views. There are fixed tables and benches outside - perfect for watching the sun set with a glass of wine. I can’t remember when I last felt so relaxed.Bedrooms are huge and beds are so comfy. My kids said it was the best sleep they had ever had! Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need and brilliant to have a washing machine and dishwasher. There are Connemara ponies that come up to say hello when they see you and one day we even had a herd of 4 wild deer by the driveway!!Clifden is only a short drive away, and there you will find everything you need for eating out, shopping etc. Plus some beautiful beaches and Connemara National Park all close by. Mary was always brilliant at getting back to us if we had any questions, not only ahead of our arrival but also whilst we were there. Superb communication. This place really is a slice of Heaven and we can’t wait to come back again."
"The hotel was very busy so we expected a nosy night but even with the window open it was a good nights sleep. Nice location with shops within walking distance. "
Idyllic Connemara cottage with sweeping sea, island and mountain views.

"its position could hardly be bettered, on a promontory with views to East, South, and West. We enjoyed the sound of silence, with occasional bleatings from the hillside. We took advantage of many local amenities and sites, shops, restaurants and walks, including the nearby Connemara National Park. All good!"
A grand abbey on an esteemed estate, Kylemore Abbey is a monastery founded in the 1920s by a group of Benedictine nuns. Forced to flee Ypres in Belgium after their home there was destroyed by the atrocities of the First World War, the nuns came to County Galway on the west coast of Ireland to start anew.
Explore the great outdoors at Connemara National Park, a lovely green space in Letterfrack. Discover the mountain views in this relaxing area or seek out the fishing spots.
