The hotel's location is its biggest advantage. It's a good choice for a short city break, as you get what you pay for. The train station and most of the main tourist attractions are within a 15-20 minute walk. However, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms and the overall atmosphere feel like stepping back 30 years. The bed was a little squeaky, but it didn't affect my sleep. I appreciated that the room included all the basic amenities, such as toiletries, a shoe brush and shoehorn, a shower cap, a comb, soap, as well as clean towels and fresh bed linen. Overall, I wouldn't rate this hotel higher than 3 out of 5 stars. The excellent location makes up for many of its shortcomings, but if you're looking for modern facilities and comfort, this may not be the best choice.

In a perfect location our room was spacious, clean, comfortable & quiet. For a hotel on a budget it was excellent value for money. If I were to return I would definitely stay here. The entrance was very welcoming, and although our room was a little dated it was perfect and clean for our stay. There was water in the room, soap in the bathroom and a hairdryer available too. There is luggage storage and although we didn’t see any members of staff, they weren’t needed as the instructions were very clear.

The room was clean but the sink was cracked and toilet seat broken. The window was too high up to open. Worst bit was it was opposite a night club that played music till 4 in the morning

Excellent stay in the center of Riga! I was born there, but left the country young, so being there as a tourist was an interesting experience! Very centrally located, the trains and trams 5-7 min away by foot, great budget self- service restaurant Lido is 7 min by foot, plenty of supermarkets, shops, and stores! Old town about 12 min by foot. Check-in for easy, the staff is excellent, I had an issue with Internet connection, received instructions but QR code to open the door was downloading for some time so I messaged the staff and they got back to me right away sending QR code to WhatsApp number! It’s a bit noisy since it’s on the main street. I used air plugs no problem for me since it’s the city and noise is expected. Kitchen appliances work well I used stove once and had a trouble turning on against staff. Member reached out to me on the timely manner and everything went well. I recommend this place for a stay if you’re looking to explore old town to be in the center and enjoy the most delicious food that I still remember when I was a child.
