We stayed in the front bedroom, the one with a bathtub in the bedroom. The room itself was OK, needs a bit of TLC but the bed was comfortable, carpets looked pretty new, shower was excellent.
It has a bit of a mishmash of styles, looks like 4 different people kitted it out and didn't talk to each other about their ideas; they could really use the services of an interior designer, as it looks like a fair bit of money has been spent on fixtures and what not.
On arrival the man on reception informed me that there was no breakfast as advertised, so he discounted me £10, or 5:00 each, which i feel was a little low as I would expect to pay more than that for a hotel Breakfast, we got one over the road at the Weatherspoons.
There is a Bar downstairs, which is open to the public and all the smokers stand outside shouting and what not until it closes at 1 am, so didn't get the best nights sleep, which was actually important to us because we were not in town for a night out.
Free parking was provided, to the rear but it is tight, we got in fine though.
Overall, at this price point, I have stayed in much better, but for somewhere to get your head down after a boozy night in Skipton, it's OK.
