An excellent barn conversion, parts of which date back to the 16th Century with views over scenic countryside, Farfield House is very spacious and is decorated and furnished to a high standard. With a lovely restful garden, the house provides a welcoming retreat at any time of the year with open fires and a Jacuzzi bath to help you relax after a day exploring the dales. The village is home to the ’Best pub in Yorkshire’ renowned for its excellent fayre, and is central for the Wharfedale villages of Grassington, Kettlewell and Burnsall as well as nearby Malham, Settle, with Hawes and Leyburn within easy reach. There are working farm vehicles in the vicinity. Landline available for emergencies only. There is a sofa bed for occasional extra guest in second living room. One dog only. There are large gaps between banister spindles. Only dogs allowed at the property. Very well stocked with all necessary equipment if rather dated. Warm and cosy central heating system that tends to clatter and bang, especially in the morning! Nice to have the option of the open fire in the colder evenings . Very well positioned for walking into the dales hills, and having tiled floors in the kitchen and adjoining utility makes it easy when weather wet and dog is too.
