Dogs: Our canine guests are very welcome. As loving owners of a Cockapoo called Jet, we understand just how important it is to have our dogs with us when we go away. As we hope you will appreciate there are a couple of small points that we would ask you to consider if bringing your dog(s) to Little Brook Cottage: There is a dog gate at the foot of the stairs as we have a strict NO DOGS UPSTAIRS request. We also ask that dogs DO NOT go on the furniture. Please provide a dog bed when staying. Please do not leave your dog(s) unattended in the cottage for long periods of the day. There have been instances of unattended dogs who have become distressed and have barked constantly which has inconvenienced our neighbours. We feel this is unfair both on our neighbours and the dogs themselves. Please be responsible for your dog’s poo – using doggy bags and disposing into the dustbin or preferably the dog waste bin at the end of Main Street. The vast majority of owners do this without prompting but regrettably a few still need to be asked.
There are drops in the garden.
There is open water in the property grounds.

Cosy, clean, little character cottage warmed by an Aga.
Cosy, clean, little character cottage warmed by an Aga. Great location for walking. Had everything we needed - even managed to cook in and on the Aga. Little disappointed that the 'village shop' had disappeared but nearby pub and superb Old School Tea rooms made up for that.
Great location for walking - up onto the moors past the old lead mine workings and down to the River for easier walks.
The owner was really helpful and welcoming.
