Loved my stay very convienient for what i was doing and within walking distance of the town and sea front would stay there again if i was to go back to skeggness
The lady that booked me in was friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. All the facilities were in excellent working order and the fact that my room had a bath was a definite bonus. The rooms are very close to everything and I plan to visit Skegness again in February and will definitely book this property again if it is vacant.
Clean room and lovely soft comfy bed. Decore was a little dated but ok. Good information on what to do on arrival at the hotel. Could hear noise from other guests. Parking was good.
The staff member who greeted me was lovely, she explained everything to me and was very helpful with my questions too. The room i had was a large double room, bigger than I'd expected with a private bathroom. The fridge was an unexpected surprise too. On street parking was easy enough but I was informed at check-in they also have a carpark at the back. A pleasant stay and will definitely stay here again.
Hotel sent me a text with information on how to find my key which was locked away safely in a coded lock box. Room was cosy, clean, had complimentary wash products and my children had bigger better beds than a prem inn. Easy peasy. Cheap and cheerful. No complaints.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Stayed at moonside for a night while exploring Skegness. The rooms are located perfectly for all aspects of a trip. Just a few minutes walk can get you to the pier, restaurants or pleasure beach. We stayed on the bottom floor which was okay. Only problem being right next to the door which is super loud. The bathroom facilities were somewhat questionable but did the job - you get what you pay for. Overall superb for an easy night away, decent rooms and very cheap price.
We enjoyed our stay. The house keeper was very friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. Maybe a microwave could be put in the room, not everybody can afford to eat out also a toaster would be nice. We stayed mid September when it drops cold in the morning and evening, Maybe the heating could be set on a timer to warm the rooms, it was pretty cold which meant we had to cover up with duvet. We will return thank you for your hospitality

Disliked: Amenities
We were told check in from 2pm however they tried to say it was 4pm. We were eventually allowed in after 2pm.
Room was ok, not confident bedding was fresh etc. Staff not very welcoming.
Overall for the money we paid it was ok however would not stay again.
Location was brilliant but there are much better places to stay on Skeg.
The property was clean and tidy couldn't moan. Bin not changed in 3 days had to get rid of rubbish ourselves, towels were not changed even though we asked
I absolutely loved this place and wish I was there for more than one night. The room had a table and 2 chairs and also a full size fridge. I do intend to return for a few days.
We never managed to get in to the premises. We were never given a code to access the box containing the room/ property key. The two phone numbers that we were given were turned off. One lady had locked her key inside and arrived just after us. Luckily a resident was just coming back after a day out and let the lady in. We were very upset and annoyed. We had to find alternative accomodation, which cost more money and was very inconvenient.
Im so glad i only booked for one night, a lock box to get your key to check yourself in, where are any staff? I dread to think who does the housekeeping, having been a housekeeper myself i would have lost my job if i let a guest check into a room in that state! Hairs in the shower, sink and toilet, the bathroom light barely worked. Mouldy shower if you can even call it a shower, i watering can would have been more effective. The stale smell in the hallway is atrocious. We turned the cups over to make a drink and found a dirty cup with left over tea leaves stuck to the bottom and pubic hairs on the rim. More hairs in the bed, no hair dryer and a dirty kettle. Never in a million years would i ever stay in this dirty pit again! More like a halfway house for ex addicts and convicts!!! Absolute hell hole, couldnt wait to get home and shower using dettol!!!
