Cosy, friendly and relaxing. Unpretentious, old time vibes with nice and attentive staff. The grounds are surrounded by peace and quiet at the outskirts and large gardens. Good breakfast and a very affordable restaurant.

Here to visit Varnhem kloster. Our stay at the hotel was very nice. Comfortable beds which is very important. The service from reception to bar visit to dinner to breakfast was excellent. We will be back next year from 29-31 may.

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummet luktade lite unket, men efter ordentlig vädring blev det bättre. Dock fick problem med att sova, eftersom det var väldigt varmt och dålig luft. Man kunde inte välja att haka upp fönstret en bit, så vi fick ställa upp fönstret utan att spärra det. Maten i restaurangen var okej. Torskryggen var god, men istället för skirat smör, så serverades den med en kall sås som mest smakade majonnäs. Mannen tog entrecote. Smakade bra, men enligt menyn skulle den serveras med grillad lök och paprika. Fanns ingetdera, utan cocktailtomater istället. Men såsen var fantastiskt god! På morgonen hade vi tänkt duscha, men det fanns inget varmvatten så det var bara att glömma. Men det är ett mysigt ställe, med mycket historia, och lugnt och fridfullt.
