A wonderful small and cosy house with a private natural hot tub, fantastic views
A wonderful small and cozy house situated on a hill with fantastic views of the valley and to the little church nearby. There is a private road to the house and a good parking lot. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the second with two single beds. The living room has a comfortable sofa, chairs and a TV. Great accomodation for a family or friends of two to four. Beautiful mountain view from every window and a private natural hot tub just outside. The kitchen is spacious with every utensils you need and some coffee, tea, salt and pepper. WiFi connection. The tiled bathroom has a luxurious shower. The greatest asset of this house is the hot tub outside made of natural stones from a mountain nearby. We provide slippers and bathrobes. On the veranda a barbecue grill and garden furniture. We work closely with a riding tour company nearby and we could even arrange a riding tour to and from the house where you could even leave your fellow horses on the green pastures close to the house overnight. Háabrekka is the perfect place to relax and recharge your energy.

The cottage, including the beds, was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the sheep that wandered by and even rested a while right outside a window. The hot pool was delightful — toasty hot and cute with the lining of rocks! Helga was a delightful and accommodating hostess.
Helga greeted us upon arrival. She was a wonderful and helpful person. This is a magical and incredibly peaceful place. The hot spring and the views were amazing! This was the perfect place to start our anniversary celebration in Iceland. We couldn’t have asked for a more special place. We will return and I would highly recommend. Thanks Helga!
Helga, who lives nearby, gave us a perfect stay at her beautiful home. The house offers all comfort and is super clean. Helga takes care about every thing. Nowhere in Iceland we slept better. Thank you!
This place is SO nice, clean, and comfortable. The Host even went out of her way to bring us a traditional coffee pot to use since we weren't experienced with the french press. The surroundings are serene and peaceful with a Mountain close by to hike. The hot tub was simply the best- larger too than it looks in the photos. Everything was amazing- highly recommend!
The solitude, the hot tub, the house - it's all perfection. Helga is a dream to communicate with. A piece of my soul was found while staying at this house, I didn't know it was missing but when you look up at the stars in a private hot tub in this gorgeous location, you'll feel it too.
