"This was a very cozy and relatively private igloo. We chose it for clear view should there have been northern lights. There were none during our stay but it was still a great stop. Lovely expansive view. I wasn't expecting it to be so close to the main road with relatively bright lighting as a result. The common area was nice and clean with adequate bathrooms for the number of people during the times we came to the space."

This property was the highlight of my Icelandic experience! It had the most beautiful, scenic location, super remote with a beautiful sea front view. What a view! We arrived via the gravel road from the Hvita River valley, great drive. Easy check in, we got in early too. We were in the lodge building away from the main building where we were the inly guests. We stayed here for one night, everything was perfect. Our room was on the ground floor, it has big windows which was perfect for those Amazing views outside the hotel. The restaurant was great, and breakfast was excellent ... Best thing about this hotel was the staffs, everyone was so polite & helpful. The Hotel Tindastoll is a lovely change from the standard characterless rooms found in the 'chain' hotels. We stayed in room 3, at the front of the hotel with views towards the fjord. This is an old building with no lift and steep stairs, creaky wooden floors and gloomy en suite bathrooms but we loved it!
