Turtle Cove Lakefront Retreat - Lake Keowee 180 ft shoreline, deep-water dock

  • Enjoy true lake-house comfort with modern amenities, PRIVACY, and stunning views every season. Located on "Turtle Cove," this 4-bedroom, 4-bath, 3,000 sq ft home sits on 180 feet of shoreline with DEEP WATER at the dock, offering water VIEWS from nearly every room and seasonal mountain views.

    The open, well-appointed kitchen anchors the main living space. All four bathrooms feature walk-in showers.

    Covered upper and lower decks — plus an additional top balcony — are furnished for relaxing, dining, grilling, or cornhole, all in a PRIVATE setting, with a firepit table on the lower deck. The lower level has a game/dining table, a cozy seating area with games and TV, and one of the bedrooms (with 2 queens) and full bathroom.

    Start your morning with coffee and end it with sunset views from the double-decker dock. Paddleboard and kayaks included; a Bennington tritoon available to rent separately.

    Sleeps up to 10 — great for a group getaway or a workcation, with strong wi-fi on every level (check out our reviews!). The area is walkable, with hiking trails and waterfalls nearby.

    Location: Mid-lake and highly desirable — a short boat ride to the Lighthouse restaurant and cabana, with several great restaurants within 15 minutes.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake front home. The water and views are gorgeous. We rented a pontoon boat and were able to boat to a restaurant and marinas. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Our host Cathy was very responsive when needed. Highly recommended!

Beautiful home...very spacious...bedrooms and baths on each of 3 levels...very clean with modern furniture....hostess very responsive. All normal amenities provided. Property has a boat house. Rental of the pontoon boat is possible. Talk to the hostess. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house, well stocked, and in a great location on a beautiful lake. Highly recommend. Was great being able to rent their boat and not have to deal with picking up/dropping off a marina.

Perfect getaway

We enjoyed this beautiful home on magnificent Lake Keowee for a long weekend and Clemson tailgate. The home was perfectly clean and stocked - they really did think of everything. Amazing sunsets. The owners were helpful and super easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house, amazing lake. Really fantastic to have the boat available to rent. Much better pricing than renting from a marina and you must rent a boat on this beautiful lake. House is well appointed with multiple outdoor areas on a quiet and calm cove. Highly recommend

Another wonderful lake stay!

This was our third year to stay at this beautiful home that has everything you need for a family gathering or celebration. The lake views and porch are amazing, and we love the double decker dock! Being able to rent the owner's boat makes this place unique and so convenient. We highly recommend Cathy's lake house; she is wonderful to work with and goes out of her way to ensure your visit is special!

Awesome stay for graduation weekend

My extended family had a wonderful weekend at this property celebrating the Clemson graduations for both my daughter and niece. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck. Although the weather did not cooperate 100%, we were still able to rent a book for one day. It was nice to be able to park it at the dock and take a break for lunch. Cathy was quick to respond to any questions we had during the weekend. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Lake House

The best family vacation ever!

Everything about our time in this home was absolutely perfect! The hosts have thought of everything, and have it readily available to use. They are super responsive and very helpful. The home itself is beautiful, and the location on the lake is perfect. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed every moment here and we are already talking about returning next summer. A quiet, peaceful haven!

Such a Relaxing Wonderful Home!

Our family met our son at the VRBO during a recent holiday. He recently accepted a job in Greenville, and was not sure of his time off, so we decided this would be nice place to meet and chill and be together over a holiday. The house has every amenity one could think of! Beautiful views from every room! The home is immaculate. The view of the lake is stunning. I would highly recommend this property. Communication with the owner was wonderful and efficient.

Just what we wanted and needed!

Cathy is a terrific host! Communication was clear and prompt. We rented her pontoon boat as well for the week. We had a great time at the house. Extremely well organized with labels on everything made it even easier to stay there. We did get our exercise going up and down to the dock but then it was all with it. Would love to come back with some friends for a future stay!

Wonderful Lake House

This was our third stay at this property. Our family group consisted of two adult couples and one teenager. The house is spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. If not on the boat, we spent the majority of our time on the upper outdoor deck which is large and furnished comfortably and has beautiful views. Everyone complimented the comfortable beds. We cooked most of our meals, although the Lighthouse restaurant was a decent nearby option. The walk down to the dock was a bit of a hike, but good exercise! We did have an issue with the deck not being clean when we arrived, but that was handled quickly and efficiently by the owners. The owners provide beach towels and plenty of bathroom and cleaning supplies. We are already talking about going back!

we loved our stay! - Cathy was very easy to communicate with and the whole check-in/out was a breeze. - the house is definitely private to its neighbors and the views from every angle were fantastic. seeing the water from the loft and porches was awesome for morning coffee. - there was ample room to cook, eat, and lounge. - I personally enjoyed taking the kayak into the calmer waters to the right every day, and we generally enjoyed all the floaties and the double-decker dock. - would highly recommend renting the pontoon along with it—we took it out every day to the various little beaches, we tubed, and saw a very nice sunset on the open water. - my only "ehh" note: while it's gorgeous and comfortable, the loft bedroom is not private, noise-wise. sounds from above the bedroom and bathroom definitely carry into the main room. may be a non-issue for some groups!
