I had a great experience staying at this hostel. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay, which made a huge difference. The atmosphere was both secure and fun, making it easy to relax and enjoy the trip. It’s a safe and friendly place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to other solo travelers.

A spacious studio apartment with a window overlooking the central Bazilic Square. The kitchenette is fantastic: it features a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and even a little stovetop for preparing breakfast. Cookware is provided, and the cherry on top is the private bathroom.

I stayed at Maverick Apartments Budapest recently and had a decent overall experience. The room itself was okay — not amazing, but not bad either. The building is clearly quite old and historic, which gives it character, but it also explains why the rooms probably aren’t heavily renovated. Because of that, some things felt a bit worn. The washroom had a strong smell, and the toilet flush button was broken during my stay. I assume these issues come with maintaining an older property, though they were still noticeable. On the positive side, the location is excellent — you’re basically close to everything, which makes exploring the city very convenient. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which definitely improved the stay. Overall, it’s a reasonable place if you mainly want a great location and don’t mind a few imperfections in the room.

The hotel was basically a palace. We were greeted with champagne. The room was phenomenal with 11+ feet ceilings! The staff was exceptional and the location was superb!

Lovely, safe, central location. It was easy enough for me to either walk wherever I wanted to go or hop on public transit. Large, comfortable rooms with a lot of storage. The rooms were a little older with minor wear and tear on it them, but was absolutely no big deal. Great amenities, large walk in closet to keep your stuff organized, coffee maker in the rooms, coffee and refreshments in the lobby, gym, spa, and a very kind and helpful staff, great housekeeping. I would absolutely stay here again.
