Located in the historic mountain paradise of Silverton, Colorado, The Silverton Lodge offers spacious and comfortable accommodations for your next adventure. Come immerse yourself in one of the last authentic Colorado mountain towns, with a culture and vibe that is increasingly hard to find. Silverton is a charming and unconventional town, where a Victorian aesthetic and mining past, meets with the modern liveliness of world class outdoor adventure. Our six suites are historically themed and are equipped with everything you will need for your stay. We are located just one block from downtown where you will find great restaurants, breweries, and shopping. All of your favorite Colorado outdoor activities, and stunning mountain views, are right out your doorstep. Our rooms are pet friendly.
The property has been completely refurbished, including new electric and plumbing. Come experience the San Juans from the comfort of The Silverton Lodge.
The Anvil Mountain Suite offers 450 square feet of comfortable living space with one queen size bed. Highlights include authentic victorian mining era decor and a fully stocked kitchen.
You have the opportunity to enjoy leisure time in the privacy of our secluded garden with stunning mountain views. Guests can use our propane grill for cookouts, or enjoy an evening with your favorite beverage next to the outdoor fire place.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was clean and a close walk to main shopping area. The backyard was a sunny retreat after hikes in the mountains. Dog friendly for two dogs so a real bonus on our trip.

Backyard Condition
No instructions how to check in. Room was very good. Clean. Kitchen had all supplies needed. Backyard needs help. Owner turned on light while trying to sit around camp fire. Overall satisfied.
Although the room was filled with cute antique furniture, None was usable for us to unload suitcase. Also closet, which could have been used for storage, had blankets and bedding thrown in for future use. Breaker popped last day and couldn’t find reset so no coffee for me.
Overall the experience was good but I felt the property could have used some maintenance. The weeds were overgrown and you had to trudge through them to get to the door and the backyard was useless. Owner was nice and accommodating and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Owner overbooked and we lost our reservation
The owner overbooked and we lost our reservation at this hotel. This was not good news. He did rebook us in another hotel in the same town, but that accommodation did not have the features we had planned for initially. We had a great trip, but I was and still am disappointed in the overbooking error.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience! This place was amazing! We are already planning a return trip! Thank you Tim for being the hostess with the mostest!!
