"The room was clean and everything worked. I thought I had rented a room with a recliner and instead it had table and chairs. Not a bad thing. the chair would have been nice for my bad hip. After searching a few rooms the woman at the front desk couldn’t find one close so I opted to go with what we had. No harm no foul."

"No breakfast at the hotel. It was extra and no need to take a chance. No pool time so can't share anything on the pool area. They had been digging in the parking lot up front and this was muddy. The main problem was elevators. It has 2 elevators and only one working. The elevator working is old and very slow. It's bad and I don't try and stay at hotels again with elevator issues. It's just not worth the price when you can find cleaner hotels in the same area. Air vents in the room are too dirty. I can see the dust build up and that takes a long time to have that must dust build up. Main floor carpet is worn out and needs repair. Elevator flooring is in need of repair and refresh. I would not recommend this hotel in the future and is not up to Hilton standards that I have seen in the U.S. We travel a lot throughout FL, AL, MS, Tenn., LA, TX, OK, MO, and don't need to rate hotels with not recommended in the past."

"We greatly enjoyed this property, made all the better by the amazing staff! From the warm welcome by the evening front desk attendant to the creatively decorated toilet paper rolls and fanned towels in our room’s bathroom, we felt clean, comfortable, and safe from the moment of arrival. The breakfast bar was fabulous, with hot cheese omelets, yummy sausage, and scrumptious STRAWBERRY waffles (I’ve never had anything like them before!), the food was hot, tasty, and abundant. Our bed was super comfy and we woke refreshed and happy. While the hot water could have been hotter, everything else was fabulous. I highly recommend this property to anyone needing a comfy stay near independence. MO. Oh - and the Golden Corral is within walking distance for dinner. Overall, fabulous stay! Great job, everyone! "
