"Rita was a wonderful hostess! The location is away from the crowds and the view is beautiful. The mule path down to varenna is easy to navigate and not too difficult. It is stone and fairly steep though- wear your sneakers! There is a complimentary shuttle back up from the town after 7pm, which is easy to find and use. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast included eggs, pastries, pancakes, and house-made cappuccino. The pool was perfection at the end of a very hot day!"

The hotel itself is beautiful, with a fantastic location on the shores of Lake Como, comfortable rooms, excellent facilities and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its people. Every single member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome, always greeting us with a smile, taking the time to chat, and going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was the reception team helping with local recommendations, the restaurant and bar staff delivering outstanding service, the kitchen team producing delicious food every day, or the housekeeping and wellness staff keeping everything immaculate, everyone contributed to making our holiday unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff, especially Rossana. Your kindness, professionalism and genuine warmth made us feel less like guests and more like family. "The staff at Villa Reverie were so helpful and friendly, the environment was very relaxing and everything was beautifully clean. My daughter and I struggled a little for privacy as the shower and toilet are open plan but with a beautiful balcony to relax on, it wasn’t too much of a problem. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend."

"We came to Lake Como for my son’s wedding in Varenna. The Villa was stunning with amazing views and the perfect location, The pool overlooks the lake and the 360 degrees view of the mountains were fantastic. We were a group of 11 and there was plenty space for us all, inside and out. Some of our family members had rented an apartment next to our villa. We spent quality time together around the pool. Michele was quick to respond to messages and was able to recommend a contact for taxis to get all 16 of us back after the wedding. We take home the most amazing memories. Thank you for an incredible holiday."

"We stayed here for four nights —-booked two rooms for our family. Some of the highlights include: 1) great, fantastic location which is short walking distance to ferry, shops and restaurants. 2) we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and beautiful swimming pool every day. 3) super comfortable beds and well air conditioned rooms. 4) staffs at the breakfast, pool and concierge are super attentive, warm and helpful. The concierge booked a private boat tour for us and provided useful advices on day trips and ferry schedules. The only and the biggest low light was that the casual restaurant (La Goletta) was super disappointing. The food was boring, plain, and poorly prepared . The restaurant waiters were cold and stern. Given the price, the restaurant felt way below our expectation. Recommend to stay at the hotel but eat elsewhere."
