They charged me a $100 deposit damage fee due to me turning on the shower and the shower head blasting across the room/shower. Literally water pouring out of the wall so I couldn’t even take a shower and they charge ME $100 DOLLARS? UNREAL. It’s a crappy hotel and they’re just looking for extra funds/money. DONT stay here

Nice little family run inn not just off the I-70 (but in a quiet place) that is nice to use to get to other pricier locations to visit for the day.

You get what you pay for. No hot water in the shower, no matter how long you wait and even though the sink had hot water. No lamps so the only light was overhead and you had to walk to the bed in the dark when you turn it off. No cups provided for drinking (or taking meds). The chairs’ upholstery was disgusting and the shower smelled awful. I called ahead of time to adjust my reservation and the person said they would pass my message along to the manager. If I didn’t get a call back, assume everything went through. When I showed up, they had no record of a change in my reservation.

I FILED AN ADA COMPLAINT. When I called the front desk for help, it rang 30 times and no one answered. Twice. No handicapped parking. No rooms available on the first floor - had to trudge up to the second floor with bags, within sight of employees who did not offer to help. Electronic door key took 15 tries. Room was very dark. Ice machine broken - could not fill ice bag.

If it’s your only option…
This place was borderline dirty, not in very good shape at all (broken things, dirty sheets, knicks in the paint on the walls, and the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in.

Room was spacious and the view out the front window is spectacular. Breakfast was managed by the same person working the front desk (or so it appeared), and there aren't enough tables, so there was a wait and you had to sit at a dirty table since there was no one to clean them off. Breakfast options were run-of-the-mill bagles, yogurt, toast, cereal. There was a pancake machine. Overall, was adequate for the price

Clean, comfortable, great restaurant down the street within walking distance or a shuttle is available by calling restaurant. We had two rooms and the door card was very finicky for each room. Would stay again if traveling in area, good value.

It was good sleep and clean but they make you pay a "deposit fee" of $50 and then they will give you back $50 after your stay if you didn't break anything in your room. I never got my $50 back. So they basically robbed me of $50. Thanks Red River Inn

Room key issues.
The room key cards are difficult to use. There were 5 of us in three rooms and all of us needed help getting into our rooms. Otherwise it was a decent hotel.

It was literally a $170 plus joke. We would have done better sleeping in our car at a rest area. If we hadn't booked online and paid in advance, we would have walked out. trust me, a one star Rating is being very generous. No elevator and he hesitated about giving us a downstairs room. Dirty stove, scratched up breakfast table in our room, 2 queen beds facing each other. Ants, refrigerator… I think he stuck us In a long term room. Horrible and I describe it as CREEPY. Possessed microwave
This place is old and creepy. The proprietor dispenses 2 plastic cups (not wrapped for sanitary reasons) and a handful of ice cubes (no ice machine). But the best was the noisy wall air conditioner that must share some wiring with the outlet to which the microwave was plugged in. at 3 am, the microwave lit up and began running! The little turn table was going around as if food had been put inside to heat. Of course, this woke us up (we weren't really sleeping deeply because of the boys A/C) and we immediately unplugged it. All the towels in this hotel are gray and threadbare. Honestly, they look like my rags at home. One of the worst stays we have ever experienced.

This is a no frills hotel but a great place for somewhere to stay. The room was clean, and the service was great. All the employees were very friendly and helpful.
