Hotel Tumski

Hotel Tumski

8/10 Good
"Płock is a sleepy Polish town and this hotel fits in with the towns vibe. The room was a good size with old wooden furniture. The bed was very comfortable with 2 single duvets on a double bed .No view from my room but some do look over the river. AC worked perfectly and enabled me to have the best sleep for the last few days. Bathroom was a good size with standard shower Breakfast was very good with a nice help yourself buffet and cooked to order dishes available at no extra charge. It is also possible to sit on the balcony for breakfast I tried this on day 1 and was mobbed by midges or something similar so moved back inside. Friendly team, unlikely to ever return to Płock but if I did would happily stay here again."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Sikórz?
The best area to stay in Sikórz is in the immediate vicinity of the Sikórz Palace, particularly along the main road that leads into the village.

This area is the heart of Sikórz and offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the palace grounds. The main road, often referred to locally as the 'Road to Sikórz Palace,' is where you'll find the primary accommodation options and any local services. The palace itself is a significant landmark, providing a picturesque backdrop and a central point of reference.

For couples seeking a relaxing retreat, staying near the palace is ideal. The peaceful surroundings, often featuring landscaped gardens or views of the countryside, offer a tranquil escape. You can enjoy strolls around the palace grounds and appreciate the historic setting without venturing too far.

Families will also find this area suitable due to its contained nature. With fewer major roads and a general sense of calm, it's easier to keep an eye on younger children.
