This hotel is amazing in all respects - the staff are great and attentive. The room was great - spacious with a comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower were also really nice. The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring all the main attractions i.e going to sigiriya rock, minneriya national park and driving to anuradhapura and polonarruwa. The food is exceptional - we had dinner there both nights because the chef Jagat is great and prepared for us whatever we wanted. The property offers beautiful accomodation in a quiet setting, with fantastic staff. It's also within walking distance of both Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks (worth a visit for sunset). Our room had lovely views of both of the rocks: the room was huge with a large bathroom and massive bed. Breakfast is excellent - providing fresh fruit and a choice of Sri Lankan or Western choices. Menu options at other mealtimes are good too. The grounds are tranquil with a fair few birds around (we saw Malabar Hornbills fly by) and the pool is pleasant too.
