The description and pictures were completely accurate. The pool was fantastic with nice lawn chairs and umbrella, bedroom sizes were perfectly big, and there was beach gear in the garage with carts that we borrowed to walk to the beach. It was immaculately clean, comfy beds, etc. We will definitely attempt to rent this house for our next Siesta Key trip. ##### Kelley O. All families had their own space as well as a gathering place inside on the main floor, for meals and games, but a great outside area for lunches and pool. Great walk to Beach access 10\. A little longer walk to the village but the Frog Hopper vans were easily accessed. Loved the house and the location. The pictures on VRBO do not do the house justice. We lived the home it has everything... we had a small baby and it had several pack n plays . Pool floats ... beach chairs and umbrellas... the only thing is they have tvs in every bedroom but no stations. The cable package is poor we couldn't really watch tv but other than that we had a great time. The house it one block from beach access and right across the street and a few blocks from the village! If you don't feel like walking there is the tip taxi or free trolley my kids did take advantage of this! The house has everything you need for the beach and more. The kitchen has everything you can think of and the bedrooms tons of pillows and extra blankets. I don't think the website listed all the bedrooms and beds in them that is important to see what families get what room but it was great and we had a blast will def be back! ##### Dawn P. Location is wonderful with easy beach access. Great indoor/ outdoor space and layout for large groups. We have a few minor comments for improvement. None were show-stoppers. We would have appreciated a few staples - coffee filters, napkins, shampoo, conditioner, more soap in each room and kitchen basics (such as tea, coffee, plastic wrap, and cooking oil) would be a very welcoming gesture. It should be noted that sparkling clean also resulted in slippery floors and stairs. The lukewarm hot tub should have been checked before we arrived as the pool spa had issues with low water, automatically turning off the jets ,and the temperature was not hot enough. Calls to the property manager eventually got the jets working and the water temperature a bit higher, yet not to 104 degrees. Some of the shower fixtures are a bit loose and finicky. Consistent water pressure was an intermittent issue. On the third floor, there is one small bathroom for the three bedrooms. One of the sinks and a drawer needed repair. A couple of the bathrooms looked like they had not been updated to the standards of the others. We had bad weather one evening (actually a tornado warning) and while we were out, maintenance came in to the house and tied down and secured the outdoor furniture. Unfortunately, the chairs and other furniture remained unusable (we could not budge the ties) for two days even though the storm had passed the first night. We were surprised that they did not come earlier to re set up the space. It was also at this late time that the issues with the pool spa / hot tub were addressed. Maybe there was a communication issue with and between maintenance and the property manager. In general, the property manager was responsive to our concerns. On the first day she brought over some starter supplies at our request. ##### Linda B. Stayed 3 nights in Feb 2020 ### 4/10 Poor #### Jacquelyn D. 17 Dec 2018 #### Great location, but poorly managed. Way too much was wrong or missing. Our extended family recently spent a week around Thanksgiving at this house in a prime spot in Siesta Key. I am taking the time to write a review because of the decidedly mixed nature of our experience. We were greeted almost immediately by the horrible, disturbing sound of running our disposal. After screaming and turning it off, our uncle reached in, over and over, and withdrew 16 (sixteen!) plastic bead-type objects. As a landlord, I would never allow a new tenant to move in without emptying the disposer. There is always stuff like bottle tops, twist-ties, or whatever, in there. To me, it’s called pride of ownership. You make sure that it’s just like you’d want it if you were moving in. So what else was wrong? •There was a Weber grill for our use. How nice. Only problem, the push-button ignitor did not work (appeared to have not worked for a while), so we had to light it with a match. Only got burned once. •There was a DVD player there. How nice. Only problem, no remote and no cable to even hook it to the TV •The child safety gates, which we had specifically asked for and been promised, were broken •There were three bikes in the garage for our use. One had a flat tire, one had no chain, and the third barely worked. When we mentioned this, SKLRP said bikes weren’t included, so too bad. But bikes ARE listed in the checklist, just not the verbiage. And there they were. •Ice maker in the bar upstairs from the kitchen had disgusting black mold growing inside. Seriously. •The pool/spa heater was a constant source of painful frustration. We only succeeded in getting the spa up to temperature when we could use it, once the entire week. It took hours and hours (not the 30 minutes their instructions said) to get it up to 103 from the 80-something it was typically at. But, it would only run for 1.5 hours before shutting off and requiring someone to push a button. No button, no heat. •Water pressure in some bathrooms was barely enough for a trickle shower •The washing machine had such a loud spin cycle that people thought it was going to blow. •The kitchen, as promised, was missing any type of staple, like oil or spices or bags or napkins or dishwasher soap or sponges or any of the million things you now need to go buy. Toilet paper too. •The soaps provided were a joke. So, like I said, great beach location and nice sunset views. Maybe they'll change management companies. But it gets back to pride of ownership.
