Property restoration from Hurricane Helene has been mostly completed but there may be some ongoing construction and other inconveniences depending on the period of your stay. Access to the beach is at the north end of the property at Turtle Beach. Fisherman's Cove is a very rare Siesta Key condo where every unit has direct, unobstructed, full Gulf views. The building is one of the closest condos to the Gulf on all of Siesta Key. You could throw a tennis ball into the gulf from this Siesta Key beachfront condo! Located at Turtle Beach on the island of Siesta Key off Sarasota, Florida, this vacation home has the best of both worlds - the beach in front and boat docks with access to the Intracoastal Waterway in back. Fisherman's Cove is practically surrounded by water! While not as powdery white as Crescent (Siesta) Beach, it is less crowded and great for collecting shells. NOTE: Because of minimal beach directly in front, access to the beach is at the north end of the property at Turtle Beach. This spectacular unit is on the third floor, accessible using the elevator or outside stairwell. This unit has been thoroughly updated and professionally styled, including new furniture and furnishings. It has modern tile flooring, and completely renovated kitchen and baths, making it arguably the nicest 3-bedroom unit at Fisherman's Cove. The kitchen has granite countertops with glass tile and tumbled marble backsplash, and modern appliances including refrigerator with through the door ice/water, glass top range and oven, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped including a range of small appliances. The dining area has seating for six and is located right off the kitchen. The living room is well appointed with couch and loveseat, accent chair, large flat panel HDTV and an amazing view out to the lanai and the Gulf. Both bathrooms are all new - recently completely renovated with modern glass tile walls and tile floors, serenity slider shower doors, all new fixtures, and more! The air-conditioned lanai has floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and the beach below. Sleep at night with the ocean surf right outside your window! The master bedroom has a bay window overlooking the Gulf and beach below. It has a king-size bed, large HDTV, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with a large tiled shower. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Additionally, two twin self-inflating/deflating aerobeds are provided that can be placed wherever you choose. The second and third bedrooms have flat panel HDTVs, and each have a large window overlooking the bay and boat docks. These bedrooms share a full bath with tiled shower. This unit has its own dedicated high-speed broadband WIFI. This unit also comes equipped with a full size washer/dryer. Boat docks are available for guest use at no extra charge!! Bring your boat or rent one after you get here. Keep it right at the condo all week long. (Note; trailers cannot be stored on site) Fisherman's Cove is located less than 25 minutes from Sarasota airport, 90 minutes from Tampa, and two and a half hours from Orlando. Tons of great restaurants and golf courses are nearby. Fisherman's Cove is on the southern end of Siesta Key at Turtle Beach and is very quiet and un-crowded. The view is to the west for spectacular sunsets! It's not unusual to be able to watch dolphins swim by in the Gulf from the lanai / patio. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need to do some cooking or grilling. The beds were comfortable, lots of towels and beach chairs. The beach is incredible calm and hot, there weren’t many people so basically we bathed in from of the apartment alone and we could see my dad who is older from the balcony since he didn’t want to bathe so much. The apartment with 3 room and 2 bath was perfect for my family, it has everything we needed, clean and comfortable. Very close they have kayaks to rent, we rented 2 times and in them we passed in from of the building where we rent and go around some island not to far away and see nature and animals the water is shallow and calm perfect for kayaking it was the most we liked. We only had one inconvenience, we had to evacuate for 2 days due to hurricane Idalia because the apartment is in zone A which always evacuate, so if you travel from afar have a plan B because it is mandatory to leave in case of storm, something very common in Florida. For the rest, everything was wonderful. I also want to highlight that the people on-site association office despite not being managers of the unit we rent because the hosts are in Texas, they were very kind and took the time to talk to us and guide us through the evacuation and also to return they gave us their phone number and they told us when was the best time to return because there were floods in some parts. Great beachfront location. Amazing sunset views, located close drive to reataurants and supermarkets. Spacious rooms with amenities, very family friendly. We absolutely loved everything about this condo at Fisherman’s Cove. It was beautiful, the bathrooms have been updated with large showers, the location on the beach is amazing, brand new appliances, and they have everything you need down to,the beach towels. The condo had beautiful views and most everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen has great updates, but is missing some staple items if you plan to cook for a large group like we did. Location is great, its quiet and laid back. We enjoyed the lagoon behind us as well as the gulf. We would recommend to anyone looking for a vacation away from the commercial busy beach atmosphere. Not crowded. Could walk to a couple places for dinner, easy drive to others. Plenty of room to spread out in condo. Great view from sunroom. They had everything that you need in the condo, beach, chairs, coolers, send toys, etc. to play on the beach. The inside of the condo was very clean and you can’t beat the view. It was great! Super clean, great amenities, and quite! Upgrade kitchen and baths we great! Beds were comfy. I think the unit could use some fresh paint and new furniture. The loveseat and couch were needed new springs.
