My husband was worried about not being right on the ocean. Once we entered the property the ocean was not given another thought. (not to mention it was minutes away to walk to) We felt like we walked into the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. We traveled with our adult children & their boyfriends & our 12 year old. They had an entire floor to themselves and we never heard them. It was the Best vacation we have been on. The kitchen was big enough for all 8 of us. We had two adult couples with four 21-23 year olds. The adults loved being on the rooftop until about 11 and then the young crew stayed up there until they went to bed. It was difficult to tell in the listing how the three bedrooms were situated on the third floor, but it ended up being a perfect set up. Two rooms shared a bathroom right across the hall. The condo had everything we needed for the beach. The walk to the beach was easy. Two living spaces made downtime perfect. We had two really small issues and maintenance was sent. First time was crazy fast, but the second time it was late at night so we had a bit of a wait. Only space we felt we needed a little more room was for dinner. We ate in every night and it would have been nice to have more space at the table. Eight adults was a bit cramped, but we made it work by moving one of the bar chairs around the corner for the shortest person. ##### Randi C. There are quite a few issues that we had while staying at this residence. It boasts of having an elevator as one of it's amenities. It was broken for move in and fixed two days later. There are six flights of stairs in this unit. We had three suitcases at max weight to carry up the flights of stairs after getting in from a night flight. There were three separate codes needed for the gate, garage door and entrance to the unit. Why not make it all the same code? There was also a separate code for the elevator if it would have been in operation. This unit would work well for an extended family, but having one single family, everyone was spread out. The kitchen is on the 4th level. The rooftop had not been cleaned and there are alcoholic beverage cans and glasses on the tables and on the ground next to the chaise lounge chairs. We did not use this level, but were surprised it hadn't been addressed. On the third day a group of 8 came to use the pool that were not from one of the shared units. My family and I were not comfortable going until they left, but my 19 year old daughter went down and asked where they were from and they changed the subject. They were taking up all seven lounge chairs and she asked if she could have one as they were all in the pool. They stayed until around 3pm. Where they came from or how they got in were beyond me.We will not be returning. ##### Amanda T. We have so many wonderful things to say about this home. The first is the location. We enjoyed this home because it fit our lifestyle... a walk on the beach each morning, enjoying the sun by the pool in the afternoon. In the evening it was a simple walk two blocks down to the north village to enjoy wonderful dinners and great music each night Everything was exactly as we wanted! The home was decorated beautifully. Thank you to Cottages at the Key for helping with a few of our needs. Since we are from the cold north, we like the eat outdoors while in Florida. This home does not have a table and chairs on any of the beautiful balconies. Yes, it does have a roof top, but that area does need a bit of TLC. We contacted the office and within a few hours, they delivered a table and chair set as well as two more bikes! My only big negative would be not being able to grill out. There are three grilles on the roof top, but they were all locked. I am sure if we called and requested a grill, maybe one would have been delivered. Instead, we ate more meals in town which was wonderful! When we did cook at home, the kitchen had everything we needed! The beds were fine. We stayed for three weeks, so that is always a concern. One thing to consider if you are traveling with other couples, the master bedroom is enormous! The other three are somewhat small. Considering you are in a beautiful home and in warm weather, we didn't care. The middle level "den" area was a bonus. You won't regret staying here! It is a beautiful place! ##### Teri D. Beautiful condo steps to village and across the street from beach access. A must stay when you are vacationing with your family or friends in Siesta Key. Plenty of room for the family... six adults stayed very comfortably. Condo is stocked with everything you need. Cottages at the Key were very responsive throughout the booking experience and arrival.
