Location is good. During our stay we walking to the night market & pub street. There are some restaurants, massage shops, laundry shops, groceries shop on the same street. Less than 30 minuets to arrive airport by Tuk tuk with $9\. Other comments: basic amenities given, door lock of room is little bit difficult to handle, receptionist with minimum understanding of English but still acceptable, hairdryer & slippers not provided as listed in hotels.com, room make up signage place on door outside door always being blown by wind & caused noisy or keep dropping on floor (anyway you need to manually inform reception counter on room make up request), housekeeping team can be better & standard housekeeping guidelines needed as during our stay it happened that room kept done but without refilling free water, detergent left in room & my hair oil missing which I suspected they threw it. All guest must be returned the room keys to reception counter before you go out & collect it when you come back as the hotel staff said the proximity card is easy broken and expensive. There was only 1 day we woke up late a bit around 9am there were a few staffs came to fix or clean the room beside us which they spoke loud & mop the window loudly. The light outside the room (corridor) is linked with our room electric control meaning if we take off the room card, during night or early in the morning is too dark for us to see the lock. The room feels like brand new. We stay during Sep which is still raining season, thus the road outside the hotel is not a pleasant experience with water everywhere. But it's not the fault on the hotel. The swimming pool is clean and small. At night the place is quiet, with 5\~10 mins walking distance to the night market and the pub street. Really lovely stay! The staff are so welcoming and helpful, including the tuk tuk driver who picked us up from the airport in awful rain! The same driver also took us round Angkor Wat, arranged by the hotel, and it was perfect. Huge room and balcony, comfy bed and great shower and bath. Swimming pool is great too. Less than 10 min walk to Pub Street and the night markets but feels so calm inside the hotel. Staff is nice and very helpful and the location is superb (quiet, away from the crowds, but just a short walk to Pub Street etc)! Breakfast that is included gets a bit boring after a while, but there are other options at a surcharge. All in all this is the BEST PLACE I stayed at during my entire trip in Cambodia and I would love to come back as soon as possible. Only criticism would be that there was a huge problem with mosquitos around the hotel especially in the bar area. I’d suggest that something is done to reduce the number. And also there seemed to be some kind of shortage of toilet paper!
