The Vorauf Holiday Park The Vorauf Holiday Park is located at an elevation of about 700 metres on a gentle ridge amidst the charming landscape of the Chiemgau region. The peaceful setting and beautiful natural surroundings offer ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday. Originally, there were three farms on the approximately 65-hectare site. After two years of planning and construction, the first houses in what is now the “Vorauf II” area were completed in 1972. The resort’s village centre was inaugurated in 1976. The Vorauf Holiday Park owes its name to the historic Vorauf farm, which is located in the centre of the resort. The property underwent extensive renovations in 1977 and again in 2012. Today, Vorauf Holiday Park comprises around 450 residential units as well as numerous sports and recreational facilities.
