This house was nothing fancy, but exactly what my family needed to unwind. There were exactly enough beds for my partner and our 3 kids, and the kitchen/living room/dining room setup worked great for making simple easy meals. The thing that made the house special was outside. There is a huge expansive lawn leading down to a sparking clear lake which was literally steps from the front door. There's a shared dock and a little sandy beach, and kayaks and canoe and life vests to use. There's a a shaded patio with a dining table and deck chairs for sitting in the sun. Doug was very sweet, checking on us, delivering us a little fire pit and wood when we wanted to make a campfire. We had a great stay. ##### Beth S. The cabin, itself, was clean and seemed as though it had been updated within the last couple of years. It had everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay. The walk to, and entry into the water, was easy and the lake is clean and clear. The surrounding area is beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed the fire pit. The laundry is located in a separate building up the hill on the property. The owners also live on-site, along with two other vacation units, so it’s not super private, if that is important to you.
