The property is a modernized old farm house. I reiterate its an old farm house and it fits the description perfectly.This property is in the country. That being said, that was the appeal for us in choosing this property. Probably 25 mintues to Galena and 40 to Dubuque. The views are spectacular. Its quiet, actually I expected some early farming activity, but other than cattle feeding which was not loud or disruptive there wasn't any on our visit. The cattle/cows are to the west and east of the home.The home is clean and we had a few questions that were answered quickly.We would definitely stay here again.Bruce & Joann
