Located in a quiet street, this top floor unit is only 700m to the Shoal Bay foreshore where you will find an array of cafes and restaurants that line the pretty beach. The foreshore reserve offers picnic tables and BBQ's looking over the white sand and clear blue water of the beautiful beach. Go for a swim or splash in the calm bay waters, or hire stand up paddle boards and kayaks and get out on the water. Mount Tomaree is approximately 1km away, and from its summit you can witness magnificent views over the whole area. Nelson Bay CBD and marina is also just 3.5km away. This 2-bedroom unit is an ideal location for an affordable holiday with views. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area opens out to a large balcony with beautiful water views over Shoal Bay and the heads of Port Stephens. The fully-equipped kitchen has just been replaced and offers a fridge, oven and cooktop. The main bedroom has a queen bed and balcony access, while the second bedroom offers 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower and a toilet, and there is an internal laundry with a washing machine. Secure parking is available in a small, single lock up garage. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We didn't stay even 30 minutes in the property. Steep staircases to carry luggage up to the room. No air conditioning. 70's furnishings, sloped balcony. As soon as entered ants through kitchen. Morning prior to leaving Sydney received call from your office that previous guest left port a cot. I advised we're not due to arrive 2-4PM and ensure item collected prior to our arrival. 10 minutes on arriving to apartment, knock on door by man with no ID to collect port a cot.Your office had the keys prior to our arrival. My son didn't feel safe with unkown person arriving.We left apartment on day of arrival and returned the keys.
