My room on the street-facing side had a great view of Shimabara Castle and the ocean. It was a very spacious room, with a huge refrigerator. There was a microwave in the hall by the elevator. There was also a tatami space as well as western-style furniture. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the castle and the bukeyashiki. There was also a top sheet on the bed as well as a comforter. It was also very affordable. On the negative side, there was a constant gurgling sound coming from the A/C unit, even though it wasn’t turned on. I needed earplugs to be able to sleep.
