The place is in a quiet area but near several streets with malls and restaurants, and right in front of a Metro station. It is big and clean but the air-con only works when you turn it to maximum. I woke up a few times during the night to fix the temperature. There are no shops and restaurant around. The hotel is located just next to the railway station. It might be rated as a 2.5 star in the US. The room is comfortable. The staff speaks very little English but they try very hard to understand and are successful doing so. I have stayed there 5 times already. The metro is accessible from the parking lot and the bus stops are near by. The major shopping area in Shenzhen is within a 10 minute walk.
